I can’t believe how much more work women are expected to do from young age- and teenage boys and girls are perfect example. Most of my male friends had almost no chores or very little of them/were paid for doing them in the house and at the same time when I was 15 I was responsible for cooking dinner 2 times a week, bought groceries, did laundry, did cleaning around the house etc. My male friend’s mom prepared lunch for him till the end of high school (and there is nothing wrong with that, by the way, it’s just double standard) when my parents/parents of my female friends stopped prepring luches for them around time we were 12. He couldn’t iron his own shirts for a LONG, LONG time. I had to be an adult long before him. And when things are like that... parents harm their sons this way- because by the time they move out of the house they still can’t cook, clean, take care of their clothes/ belongings properly... I am just confused how those men survive on their own. Maybe that’s where comes from this idea that college students have messy apartments and eat trashy food?

I think the worst part about being a girl is that no matter how hard you try not to be emotional, you always end up being emotional.

My fingernails make it difficult to even type on my phone screen, but I discovered a way to make the sound of them hitting the computer keys sound like a really good, new keyboard.
