PokeTober day 10- Platinum (Diamond/Pearl) Giritina is probably my all-time favorite legendary. The style. The Lore. The Dramatic Entrance. It's a shame the remakes didn't just redo Platinum or at least do the reverse world switch-up, it's my canon for the consequences of Cyrus' actions. Also Platinum was the first game I beat.

so, for background…. There was meant to be an event in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver where, if you bring an arceus from an event distribution to the ruins of alph, you could go to a special place called the Sinjoh ruins. I recommended looking up this event, as its WILD. But anyhow, during the event, Arceus gives you a pokemon.
in my timeskip, hibiki was accompanied by Kouki (who does briefly gain access to arceus) and they go to the ruins. There, they receive an egg from arceus- Hibiki agrees to take it due to his experience with hatching Pokemon, and almost a month later…

I wish one of Giratina's phases was a frenzied battle- either one, really, but it makes more sense for Origin.
Like, first of all, imagine how freaking cool that would be. Going toe to toe with the god of antimatter, let Volo make good on his threat to Actually Fight You over this, justify it with Giritina attacking too wildly for your pokemon to defend you, and like.
Given that we can move around in battles...
