Usagi watching Mako run off to a fight where she likely won’t die, but is absolutely not going to have an easy time on her hands (because whether she wants to admit it or not, she is weak from losing so much blood) is just the icing on this already very frosty cake.

That last pic set I reblogged that was taken from this scene tweaked my memory that I had this tiny video snippet of the original Japanese version of this. I kept it all this time because it is a very different vibe from the dubbed English series - you bet there was none of this dreamy blue naughty nudity. Actually it still surprises me that it was even in the original - the mood of it...that he’s standing there, in her room, while she’s sleeping, doing a full TSA body scan! Are we supposed to think to ourselves, “Well, he’s a professional villain. This is just business. He wouldn’t get...uh...personally interested.” I mean...I ship these two together. They belong together. But it’s still a bit...creepy. Dontcha think?
