Couldn't you do kofi? You can't really advertise it on ffnet or ao3 for legal reasons, but linking to your tumblr and then linking your tumblr to a kofi or buymeacoffee or something like that? I'd throw like, at least 20 bucks per ToF or CL update, and I'm sure others would also donate if given the chance!
