With pineapple, soy sauce, and ginger, Hawaiian Grilled Huli Huli Chicken is a tasty dish that is both sweet and savory. You can have it at a summer barbecue or whenever you want a tropical taste!
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup pineapple juice. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, minced. 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil.
Instructions: To make a marinade, put pineapple juice, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl and mix them together. Pour the marinade over the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Seal or cover the dish or bag and put it in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight. Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. If you want to use the marinade for basting, take the chicken out of the marinade. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's fully cooked. Baste it every so often with the marinade you saved. After taking the chicken off the grill, let it rest for a few minutes. Then serve it hot.
