Sunburn with a Yautja Mate ☀️🔥

After you and your Yautja mate spent many hours on the beach of a tropical planet, you arrived back on the ship looking a little red. Your mate was concerned but you brushed them off, saying it was normal for pale humans to turn red in the sun after prolonged exposure. Too bad it was more than typical exposure. The planet you had visited had a harsher spectrum than Earth’s sun.

• You wake up the next day with hot, itchy skin that makes you miserable when moving. It hurts to walk. It hurts to do basic necessities.

• Your mate freaks out upon seeing you stiffly walking to the bathroom, whimpering.

• They’re frantic when you tell them you must’ve gotten a sunburn. They’ve never seen a human with water blisters before but relax when you explain that it’s normal when humans get a pretty bad sunburn.

• You theorize the sun’s rays must’ve been harsher than what you're used to back home.

• Your mate leads you to the medical bay on your shared ship where they dig out a pale green paste from a storage bin.

• They sit you down and quickly get to work covering every inch of burned skin in the cream. A few times they accidentally use too much pressure and learn just how painful your burned skin is, the tips of their claws having accidentally swept across your shoulder. The harsh stinging that resulted made you cry.

• After that they were extremely careful with the application of the healing cream. They said it would soothe the sting and speed up the healing process.

• Once you are lathered up, you feel instant relief and are able to move your limbs without any pain. Over the course of the day they re-apply it multiple times, taking breaks from their work of cleaning new trophies from your trip to the tropical world.

• Before bedtime they put together a bathe that’s lukewarm and soothes the body aches that the sunburn brought along. You no longer feel nauseous when he applies a body wash to your skin carefully. When you’re finished, he helps you out and re-applies the healing cream.

• They understand your want to not cuddle for a few days and instead they sleep facing you with your hands touching.

• Over the next few days they ensure you have plenty of rest, hydration, and lots and lots of healing cream. You come to enjoy the soothing massage of your mate lathering your body. It’s relaxing.
