Ooh this one is super interesting for Gin!
It's kinda strange. She helped found her home city, Denerim, and it's the most important thing in the world to her, but its also been long enough since then that she's not Directly on any councils or anything. She will step in, and has currently been giving them a hard time as she doesn't like the current direction the city is going with increased militarization from The Capital
[For context, it's set in my friends universe in an environment growing increasingly hostile to magic users]
She herself, though, is starting to grow in power as witches take refuge in her layered city, though, so she's moving up the pantheon ranks a little, which she says isn't good for her niche indie god status smh (she's glad to help)
💗 Any unique traditions where your character is from that wouldn't work or apply in the real world?
Well, it can be done in the real world, but anyone passing through the alleyways has a tradition of leaving a little offering or note at the start of they journey for safe travel! She collects these offerings,,, kind of a hoarder,,,,
🥊 Has your character experienced war or conflict, directly or indirectly, and how did it effect them?
Ah, Gin has been in many a bar fights in her life. She's a little too good at card games so it makes the other betters mad lol
As for actual war- she's a stretegist! She runs a layered city with mazing alleyways that constantly shift, so its very, very hard to invade. Along with its mountainside location, that has generally kept the city safe. Unfortunately for her, now the threat is coming from inside, and that is making her job a lot harder. She's doing her best not to be de-spirited, but they sure aren't making it easy,,,,
