Heavy with guilt and grief and hope. Familiarity. It’s nice to reminisce on that feeling and get lost in the idea of you again.
I sit and sip my water, staring out the kitchen window. Crickets chirp in the night air. The moon whispers to me and for a brief moment, all I heard was you.
I don't think ppl talk about how to exactly cope with a dead loved one on a day-to-day basis-- or maybe they did, but I have never come across such posts. Whatever the case may be, it hadn't been easy, losing your soulmate.
The things I did ever since my boyfriend died is sleep at 6 am bc all I did the night before was reading our texts, watching our videos, listening to his voice notes, or even listening to songs about missing someone so bad until I feel sleepy enough.
And I'll wake up probably at 4 pm and skipped shower and hygiene routine and even my once beloved skincare routine. I hardly dress for myself anymore. Afterwards, I would drink coffee, and sometimes, I don't even eat bc I had no appetite. And every Wednesday, I would hold my breath waiting for him to drop a text that says "I'm picking you up" like he always did, for our weekly date.
the cycle repeats. I'll try coping with writing fanfics bc that's the only way I can cope with my depression and loss, alongside therapy. I'll start living again, he would want it to be that way.
