Surprised that no one has published a series of fics about Gaunt and Devi at Grinstead. I can understand that absence of an entire series of oneshots, but you’re telling me no one thought to write (and publish) a fic expanding on the Shakespeare school play/ kiss incident? What were rehearsals like? what were after rehearsals like? how did this influence Devi’s view of Gaunt? How did this influence Gaunt’s view of Devi? How did it maybe affect their friendship as a whole? Also, I just think it would be cool to do a character study on Gaunt at that time in his life. Do you think that was the first time he was coming into contact with his (probably unbeknownst to him) queer identity? I don’t think gaunt would have been the type to know from a young age.
