Mrs. Hudson says that she’s trying to eat healthier. “You know, processed foods are terrible for you. I’m trying to be sure to buy organic.”

John makes vague supportive noises, because he isn’t really interested but it would be rude not to pretend.

Sherlock says, “What does that even mean? ‘Organic’ is a meaningless word. All vegetables are organic.”

“It would do you some good to pay attention to what you eat,” Mrs. Hudson sniffs, leaving the threat hanging as she departs.

“What’s that mean?” Sherlock demands of John. “Does she mean someone’s going to poison me?”

This guy with those ears all defended Has gracious modes, haters upended Sends cards, sets up prompts Makes jokes, writes up romps And makes me feel nicely befriended.

Heelllllooooo folks! There is so much to be thankful for amidst the Horrors, and one of those things is that I can enjoy sharing this fic with you all. The next three chapters are ready, and I'll put up the 5-chapter concatenated file next week for those who prefer a longer listen with fewer introductions. Almost a fifth of the way through!

Summary:

Oh wow, they're together. They are together often and thoroughly and Biblically, and John is vaguely sorry when he thinks about Mrs Hudson and the neighbors. But his utter joy at not only getting back his massive asshole of a One True Love but having him return those feelings? And not make fun of him (yet)? This is too much for regular words. This is TOO MUCH. So, poetry it is.
