it's rare kara gets to exist like this: ever since her mother shoved her into the entertainment industry, every moment has been monitored && monetized―she's more PUPPET than person. but every now and then she gets a reprieve when she sneaks out to shows she actually enjoys. her hair is messy and down, a far cry from the prim && proper image she's usually forced to maintain. between the low lights, the crowd, the change in her hair && wardrobe: she's unrecognizable. it's freeing.

"Listen, if I ever get to the point of havin' a wife, she can do anythin' she wants ta me - she probably deserves to." he elaborates, swinging his free hand around as the other ventures to grab another can of beer.

"Cuz I dunno how that's ever gonna happen. So, I'll go ahead 'n assume she's just that wild a gal." he adds as he pops the can open, gulping a proper dose in thereafter. It would take one hell of a wonder woman - pun never intended - to reel him into a marriage, Adam figures, considering how allergic he is to the very concept of a committed relationship.

Making her way out back, still humming the tunes from Disavowed's setlist, Jessica's pace and hum stutters when she notices Fenris. Must have wandered her way to the back of the building without realising. With a cough to get his attention, she throws a quick peace sign, cheeks flushing a little, thankful for the night's cover. Another series of short, rhythmic coughs to clear her throat, gather her thoughts. "I really enjoyed the music tonight." Surely a phrase he's heard dozens of times, an internal curse at herself for failing to behave smoother.

Jude is quiet, perhaps simmering in quiet anger and disappointment. A loud, heaving sigh leaves him as he turns to glance Sam’s way. He doesn’t look angry, more a bit defeated, as he shrugs and lights up a cigarette.

“You’re right,” he murmurs before taking a drag, “guess my folks’ll be happy to see me. Serves me right for trying to fly during the winter. Blizzards, man.” He shakes his head and flicks his cigarette into a nearby dish. One leg is crossed over the other, bouncing as he thinks. Maybe it’d be worth staying in the States, it’d be worth going home—really home. He guessed he could spare some time for that; it’s been years, mostly because he’s been avoiding the place. “Guess I’ll dig out a sweater,” he dryly jests, “better make it ugly, too. I got an ugly sweater contest to win somewhere.”

she checked herself out in the mirror before she left,made sure her hair looked okay and teeth were shiny and white,before snatching her camera and purse off the table and left the room. she made it just in time to the venue,excited to see the band again. disavowed hired her again and she couldn't be more escatic to work with them.

she loved their energy and their overall vibe and was always a good time hanging out with them. though it was more professional then a friendship but scout hoped one day they could be on that level.

she entered the venue look a little frizzy with her hair since it was scorching hot out for some reason,camera ready to go and she eagerly went over to security,letting them know she was here for the band,showing him her camera and he let her through.

she knocked on the door of the dressing room,the caffeine she downed beforehand making her giddy,she waited for a response and grinned when she saw sam after her answered her,❝ hey,man. long time no see. ❞she jokes,letting herself in and leaned against the wall,hand running through her hair.

ALEX HAVEN'S HAIR IS STILL RED. They're still young, is what I'm saying. They are artistic, yes, perhaps have been since they could properly see, but they are quieter and more reserved.
