Since today was a #❄ day, I had most of the floor to myself. It also meant that after #buttsnthighs yesterday, 2 Aleve, an #Epsomsalts 🛁 and a two hour #tensmachine❤ session before bed I still only got 6 hours of sleep because of back spasms. I don't really post about it but my back is terrible. On the list of reasons #whyitrain, my back is number 1. It had gotten to the point where I couldn't sleep if it wasn't on a heating pad and I still say the best purchase I've ever made (aside from my gym membership) is my #tensunit. I try not to take a lot of 💊 because I don't want to desensitize myself. So eventually I was just in constant pain. I know that exercising has been great pain relief for me but it never disappears. And that's ok. I've come to love the soreness of my muscles now and the calluses from the weights. I've learned to accept a fair amount of pain for a little while now for a lot of feeling great later on. And on days like today, when I woke up a good 4 times between 1 and 8 this morning just to loosen up my back, I know that pushing my limits even when I feel stretched thin does nothing but make me stronger.
