She is 13 weeks old today (6/8/26) and I have had her for four weeks. She is beautiful and so loving. I have definitely replaced her mama.

I do need some advice though. She has SEVERE separation anxiety (left her mama and littermates at 9 weeks) and some of the recommendations have not helped. I do have a crate and training her there. She will gladly play and nap in the crate. She is sleeping in the crate at night in my bedroom. As long as Jiminah can see me, she is fine. The moment she can’t see me she cries and barks. I have a lot of doctor appointments and have to leave her anywhere from 90 minutes to 4 hours. I have started leaving her in the main bathroom decked out with a large puppy potty pan, her food and water tray, her crate open with bed and some chew toys. All she does is cry, bark, whine and scratch the door until I return. She also poops, walks all in it spreading it all over the bathroom. Even when walked before I leave. She looses controls of her bowels with the anxiety.

I put a tv in the bathroom playing Doggie TV or leaving a ticking clock playing. No effect on her. I have placed her in the bathroom and closed the door for 5 minutes and slowly increasing the time before I began leaving her alone. This past week, her vet prescribed some medication to give her two hours before I leave. Used it today and it did not work. I have a snuggle puppy for her, she wants to chew on it (ouch $40).

HELP...please any suggestions?
