Hey guys. I know I haven't been posting for a while now, but we lost Choca last year. It was very hard for our family to lose such a beloved family member and it has taken a while to adjust. Toffee is still with us and has adjusted well to being a solo dog. One of our outside cats, Green Beans, has decided she likes being inside more and more so Toffee isn't completely alone! The two get along great which is a blessing. My daughter has also discovered a mama dog with three puppies hanging out around our house. She said the mama is very skinny and doesn't look well taken care of, although the puppies looked well to her. Mama growled at me from the darkness a couple of nights ago so I think she may have set up shop in an abandoned house next to us. We have been putting food out near the treeline and it is always cleaned when we go back to check it. Hopefully I'll have some updates on Mama and her babies soon!
