#getting it back

So, so sorry about the hiatus folks! Been a rough few weeks as I just tanked on motivation. This pandemic is hitting me in a second wave of anxiety and inability to do anything productive, even the fun stuff. That's been hard. Anyway, here's a few things I have done recently!!

Been on a Star Wars kick recently, so here are 2 OCs. On the left is my Nautolan bounty hunter Cil Rho. On the left is a half-Nikto, half-Zabrak Jedi named Mako-Eri Taso. Star Wars: The Old Republic helped me build these 2 and a bit of their backstories that helped inspire me to draw them and get back into drawing as a whole.

backstory - hubbs and i have a two bedroom rowhouse.  we originally had our bedroom in the smaller of the two rooms.  It had just enough room for our dressers and bed.  We loved it.  except for one thing - the wall that we shared with our neighbors was (we soon found out) the wall to their kid’s bedroom.  we would hear him in there shouting and playing at all hours of the night.  it didn’t occur to us that he could hear us like we could hear him until we realized that the noise would stop when we had sex.  obviously, this couldn’t continue. 

the other bedroom was our office.  we both have giant desks and we both have desktops.  neither desk would fit in to the smaller room, but we could fit *one* in the big bedroom along with all the normal bedroom stuff.  But we had to move bedrooms (because of the kid) so it had to be done.  hubbs was adamant that we keep both his desk and his computer.  it was obviously very important to him, so we sold my desk and i put my computer in storage (even though his wasn’t working at the time...it is now).  I of course had complete access to his computer and i have a laptop.

but...i missed my desktop.  it had all my music, and a lot of pictures and files.  lots of games, too.  things i don’t really want to bog my laptop down with.  i’ve mentioned this from time to time over the last 2.5 years.  finally - FINALLY!- i told hubbs that we absolutely needed to find a place for my desktop to go.  he agreed and we’re making a spot for it this week!!
