Here’s a little information about Testosterone! ✨ Testosterone is the cornerstone of testosterone-based gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT), which uses synthetic testosterone. No singular gender identity is required for testosterone-based GAHT. But generally speaking, it is commonly prescribed to trans men, and trans masculine, non-binary, and intersex folks.

This is probably the 10th time I’ve tried to block GetPlume ads. I used to be able to report them as offensive or sensitive content, and then you took that option away.

Then I was able to report them as spam, and was given the option to block them. So I did:

And after I hit “block,” I get a little green pop up that says “GetPlume is gone!”

Except it’s not. These screenshots are from when I did this process with one GetPlume ad, then scrolled down immediately to find another GetPlume ad right below.

I don’t know how much GetPlume is paying you for these ads, but it is really infuriating to be told over and over that I can block them and then having that block mean absolutely nothing.

Got this ad, and wanted to discuss the unscientific fantasy that is intrinsic to their copy.

First of all, there is not a single concrete claim made, just generalizations. I’m guessing this is because they could be potentially sued if these claims were made concrete, because then they’d be lying.

What we have here instead is a bevy of symptoms, all focused on disturbingly stereotypical depictions of what a woman’s body must be. It is soft, with sensuous emotions, and chaste to boot. Also implicit is the idea that puberty can be recreated, which is entirely untrue.
