One time this dude who owns a metaphysical shop told me with great intent in his face to “watch the watchers”. I had no idea what that meant until recently, and now I’ve spent so much time “watching the watchers” it’s been hard to maintain a healthy, normal balance of living & enjoying my life and wondering what the fuck they’re going to do next (or should I say pretend that they’re going to do next & instead not do next, like something as simple as practicing honest communication, open-mindedness, and expressing a willingness to “come clean” to me about all the years of bullshitting me around the block, on repeat).
