Next adventure in the Indian travel book was a 44 hour train journey from Agra to Bangalore. What an experience - met a lot of interesting people, had a close call with a ticket inspector and slept on a train which was averaging a speed of 37km p/h. But all for £5! Here's a pic of mum with 2 hours to go, willing the journey to be over!! Get me to a shower...after the overnight bus to Kerala of course!
