Make potato paratha!! Although I donât think you can use the kitchen aid attachment for that, youâre better off rolling those out by hand....
See, and the whole schtick is to use the pasta roller -- but I will bear potato paratha in mind!Â

Was it home made dough?
Oh yes! I didnât take a picture of the rolling but thatâs because my hands were covered in flour. I used the King Arthur recipe.Â

Those vareniki look great! I wish I could have some! In my family o the mashed potato we add fried onion and dill, but I am sure fried garlic must be very tasty. I 'll need to try that

I find vareniki need either cheese or fried onion to keep the potatoes from feeling dry, especially when frozen.
Thank you both, onions are a great suggestion! I did add cheese but maybe I didnât add enough. In any case, I have some wonderful caramelized onion in the freezer, Iâll make a little onion sauce to go on top. As long as they have a bit of oil added in a sauce theyâre fine, and that should solve the problem nicely and also very attractively.Â

After hearing you talk about a steamer, I think I should invest in one. Which one did you buy? Way to go in all the cleaning & cooking! And cat annoying lol
I got the Bissel Steam Shot, though I donât know if Iâd wholeheartedly recommend that model. The steamer itself works great, but the trigger to release the steam is a toggle on top of the handle, so basically you have to use only your thumb to compress it, and itâs very stiff. I end up with quite the forearm workout :D So I would maybe, if I had to do it again, look for something slightly more ergonomic. But it does the job I wanted it to do, so I canât complain too loudly!

Is the steamer safe to use on wood?
I would think so, itâs hot but not so hot it would warp wood, at least in my opinion, though prolonged exposure might not be great. If youâre planning to do a lot of steam-cleaning of, say, a wood floor, I would definitely double-check with the manufacturer of the model you buy.Â
