Talbot's Swiss, chief engineer Georges Roesch developed and advanced straight six OHC engine, originally of 1665cc, and installed in the 1926 Talbot 14/45, over the years that engine was continuously improved and enlarged. By 1931 it had grown to 2969cc, and powered the race winning Talbot 105s. The Talbot 95 was introduced in 1932 with a low-compression version of the 105s engine, installed in a 120 inch wheelbase frame, complete with Talbot trademark high radiator. Late models used a new double drop frame. From 1933 there was an option of a Wilson pre-selector gearbox, with traffic clutch which automatically advanced the lever every time the clutch pedal was depressed. The Talbot 95 was available as a four or six light Saloon and came with a promise of 80mph. Diolch am 96,942,458 o olygfeydd anhygoel, mae pob un yn cael ei werthfawrogi'n fawr.
