hey so like, I was just wondering, I've seen a couple of your posts, and like, I'm kinda confused on regards of your political positions and such, would you mind to explain like, what are your ideological bases and such? like, what kind of policy do you like or dislike?, I think you are a pretty interesting person, and I'm curious. you don't gotta answer if you don't wanna of course.
Of course I want to answer that query comrade. Thanks for asking and sorry for not responding faster, I tried once and I lost a fair share of my previous answer which was fairly nice and almost completed.
I identify myself politically as a (~Moderate Left and Very Liberal) Geo-Syndicalist and am a quite passive party member of the canadian New Democrat Party participation-wise. I do support some smaller parties like the Greens and some “Free Canada party” as I liked them being options in my electoral district and also because I care about having good alternatives / competitors to choose from as far as similar enough to my ideals parties go.
If the neo-liberals, the new left and the neo-conservatives weren’t derived from Wilsonism and took useful + meaningful action to improve the present, I would be more likely to vote for them. I would still somewhat prefer sidestream parties but at least they would get some of my intellectual approval ethics-wise.
And beyond fighting back against Wilsonisms, I do have some actual ideas of my very own derived from several sidestream movements across modern history. Much inspiration is from computing hacker culture, spirituality and subcultures but you know, nothing new here.
Autism advocacy as per #RedInstead (no Autism Speaks period)
Spirituality advocacy (Subliminals’ community...)
Unions, cooperatives and syndicates
Adopting of Fair Free Libre Open Source software and hardware in government
Redistributions, regulations and division of Big Tech and other unethical businesses à la Teddy
Better social welfare programs
Firm yet diplomatic stance upon foreign policy with countries like Russia, China, Syria, Iran and Iraq so to avoid wars while keeping great ethical standards worldwide (not to alienate them out but rather to show some inclusiveness letting them in)
Ethical trade with third-world nations as to help them rather than purely exploit them for its own sake
Empowering small businesses and individuals
Dismantlement of massive surveillance (Partiot Act) and the Espionnage Act
Ecosystem and ecological issues
Reaching to trade partners excepting the USA for at least the short-middle term until the USA is ready to negociate on our terms
Preservation of tech history and living computer museums initative
And here’s some more indicative elements to show you my current position in political issues as the autistic transfem INTP-T I am:
I play grand strategy games at times, and the last time I played Democracy 3, I was closer to the center between left and right as I implemented much policies to help small businesses and all that jazz of giving opportunities + tools with small businesses in mind.
Until we meet again and get more specific questions, farewell comrades.
