A small orbweaver attempting to blend in amongst the seeds atop a grass stalk, waving in the breeze! This tiny spider had crafted a little silk hammock for itself to rest on for the day, keeping it anchored to its chosen grassy perch. Its shape and size really help it look like a grass seed or gall from afar, and I would have walked right by it if I wasn't looking specifically for bugs stowing away in the grass. Come night, this individual will leave its hammock and spin a small web in the hopes of catching a meal!
