Girls Run The World?Nah,Maybe Jogging
Straight up, I respect women. I was raised by my dad and two graceful, wise and extraordinary women, MaZwane and my gran MaRadebe. Now that's out the way in no way am I undermining women's achievements here. All I'm saying is you can do better #NoMarvinRoom. For a lot of years we heard the saying, "Men are the head of the family, the women the necks", so ladies why aren't you turning heads except for frivolous talents? Why aren't you stretching the heads and handling the bling but instead succumb to bow tie position and be tied down? It's a man's world. The sayings may concur men are the alpha of life but we overlook the vast input women have in existence. A lot will refer to the Adam and Eve saga blaming women for mankind(another man induced term). Some even go as far as saying "A dude would have manhandled the situation better". Ever thought females are more sensitive and caring? They good listeners and good hearted naturally? Halt your insinuations, I'm not fruity, bat for the other team or a George Michael. I love women, attracted to them, my sexuality is as straight as as my erect tool when Kerry Washington appears on my screen, my goodness that woman. But this was inspired by a young female close to my heart. My lil sister. Everyday I look at her and see the abundance of talent bestowed in her but she shies away under the " no girls do that" or " that's manly" which seems to be the general sentiment of a lot of young females. Aspirations and dreams are massive, and tangible, but some will settle for miniature achievements and being in the shadows. Yes agreed in the background you have influence but are you seen? Ghostwriters may write the best verse but the one who delivers it gets the credit. Why do females settle for less? Why are you ladies comfortable in pushing a car that might drive off and leave you for the next pick up along the road? Back to my lil sister, the one concept that baffles me is she'll scream at the top of her lungs saying "I'm independent" yet she clings on a dude for SELF-assurance. I'm not bad mouthing her but she'll vouch she has done that before as a million other ladies in this world. Thank God she came to her senses or I would be inmate number 2657456. Ladies are more susceptible to following in the one lady that's their first role model, first BFF...the mother. If the mother installs the "hold the knife by the edge", "a woman's office is the kitchen with rug rats running around" I fear for that girl. I don't condone any deeming statements towards females unless she lacks self respect then it's her fault not getting respect. I'm anti woman abuse but when females defend it takes me to the point girls are not yet running the world. I once overheard a lady say, "If he beats you, then it's tough love you must have angered him" WTF!!! I wish for a daughter. For the simple reason of as a guy you look at women in a different perspective and seeing how the one woman who is the ultimate female in your life is your mother, I want to instill the "You don't need balls to succeed, you are what you want to be" mentality. I want my daughter to take on all sexes with same ferocity, attain her dreams regardless of what is deemed manly or feminine. We now have female presidents, that's good. We need females to take us guys on, many males slacking because females cowardly hide under James Brown famous hit, "It's a man's world". I'm not saying be the first female on the sun, I'm not saying be the first female with one breast to conquer multiple Tour de France, what I'm saying is everything, yes EVERYTHING is up for the taking regardless of your gender. My sister tucked in her skirt, she studying this year and gunning for her dreams. Ladies, tuck in your skirt, if you really run the world, Marion Jones the hell out of everything because currently you jogging. In Kanye West's words, "Damn baby p***y can't be your only hustle" SJ
