 •  Genis saught Rick out to learn more about his dad and Rick was a lil bit of a dick to him. this was in the 1995 Niscieza series!

 • Unfortunately feelings got involved the moment they were cosmically bound, so they never got to have a flirting without feelings phase

 •  Genis was down BAD within the first 48 hours of being cosmically bound to Rick I know this

where their first date was and what it was like

 •  I dont think they've ever been on a proper date. they kinda just live in each other's pockets and between each other's molecules

 •  you see I don't think that happened either. they slow came to realize they lived each other while cosmically bound to each other

 •  I'm blanking on the first time they were physically able to touch each other. I think it was in the void together after Gen destroyed the universe which. I'm not saying he wouldn't try but I do think Rick wouldn't let him. on the other hand, Rick kissing a mirror because it's the closest to kissing Genis he can get and for one moment their molecules slot together like Amish carpentry

 • they are pda is an insane way. again, to quote @mutantdilf "BDSM pda, not normie PDA". Like Rick is kissing these day shackle looking ass things in public. Genis does not shut up about Rick. that kinda thing.

And Genis wants to do the same for Kree holidays but Rick already knows it because of Mar-Vell and Genis is pouty and Rick is like "are you seriously jealous of your dad right now" "...yeah" "do you want me to pretend I don't know" "...yeah" and Rick pretends he doesn't know but treats Genis like a little kid explaining Christmas to their teacher the whole time about it

Summary: Waking up with Rick standing over him is a dream come true for Genis after months of admiring Rick from afar. Instead of trying to escape the cosmic wasteland they've been exiled to, Genis is determined to kickstart Rick's infatuation for him using the method he's most trained in.

I think it would be really bad. I think things would turn into a fight. I think Genis would get jealous of Genis knowing Rick before him. Bruce would think Genis is insane and Rick can do better. Bruce would also be mad on Marlo's behalf. He is would also be mad because Bruce doesn't act like how Rick talks about Bruce.

HOWEVER let's imagine for a moment Genis has taken a mood stabilizer. They do NOT get in a fight in that case and Genis gets really upset with himself that Bruce didn't like him because he tried really hard. And I think Rick would get mad at Bruce for being a hypocrite about Rick's safety and be like "I'm a grown man".

Rick has put so much effort into this meeting in both sides that he gets mad at the both of them by the end of it. Rick gets mad at Bruce because he knows Genis is trying but Bruce is putting absolutely zero effort in and Rick is like "when is the last time I asked anything if you and you can't even put effort into this" and Rick is betrayed by the fact Bruce isn't even trying.

And then Bruce feels bad.

There is narrowly avoided property damage that happens happens solely because in this scenario Genis is on a mood stabilizer.
