My 5-Star Review

I have been following Geneva Lee via her newsletter since she first began writing adult romance, and while I’ve only read a few of her books yet, I absolutely love the way she writes and the stories she tells! Naturally, I was thrilled to see this review opportunity and couldn’t pass it up. If you haven’t read London Dynasty, the first in the Dynasties series, you’ll need to do so before diving in to Cruel Dynasty - but believe me when I say, it’s worth it! I actually inhaled both of the books in one day :) I do not want to give any spoilers, so this review will be short and sweet, but basically: I LOVED THIS. Kate is keeping up the charade of being Kerrigan, starting to feel a little more comfortable in this unfamiliar world of riches and titles, and finding herself falling deeper for Spencer. And then there’s Holden! Clearly she has a lot to figure out. I have to say my favorite side character is Iris, Kerrigan’s stepmother, and I think we all deserve an Iris in our lives! I love that Geneva’s books are always sex positive and that she includes discussion of how no one should be ashamed if activities are between consenting adults. She writes the hottest spicy romance and the swooniest men you’ll ever meet! I absolutely cannot wait for the third book in the Dynasties series, and I highly recommend any romance fan snatch this one up.
