okay i would LOVE to get more of her whole thing, I think she's so interesting, but the screen time we get is never the parts of her i care about...I LOVE how she is about/with Twice my beloved bc I think that was the most genuine relationship either of them could have had! I also super don't ship her with ochaco or anyone, but I get why people do it. I think the way she thinks is just too different and VERY stunted in emotional age from every other character to really ship her with anyone. to me, even though toga is in her (late??) teens, i think she's very much still that little girl who cannot understand WHY the things she feels are wrong, and VERY much does not have the emotional intelligence to take the steps to get there on her own, let alone navigate a healthy relationship with.... anyone yet lol. I'd love to get more insight on her psyche and maybe how horikoshi deals with someone whose morality diverges entirely from the rest of hero/villain society, but who is also not inherently bad or WITHOUT morals. how does his broken hero world start reconcilng with people who have differing morality or differing societal values? THATS what i like so much about toga, bc to me, she- more than anyone else- represents a tangible kind of divergence from typical thought patterns that none of the other villains or heroes ever exhibit and i wanna see her get a rehab arc where she isn't asked to change anything fundamental about herself, but instead given the tools to navigate society safely and healthily. anyway im normal lol
