And here we have the last page of the little Lapidot gemling comic I did set in @moonstone-coral and @annadesu work. After being persuaded into having another gemling by Peridot, Lapis finds that Peri’s foolproof plan that couldn’t possibly fail had a minor calculation error in it that lead to twins. And yes, Lapis is eating a rock and a brick. When you need minerals rather than food cravings can be a little strange. Didn’t quite get the sizing right for six months with twins, but the point’s still made I think. Anyway, hope @annadesu and @moonstone-coral have enjoyed this little foray into my odd humour, or if nothing else then tolerated it. Aquamarine’s my least favorite homeworld gem sadly. She was too sassy and bitchy for my tastes. But my bud likes smol pregs, so I was happy to comply.

Thought I’d try something new with this one. I normally don’t do both arms over a pregnant tummy, but I looked closely at a reference to try and replicate the arms just right.
I think I got it down right.
As you can see, she’s having her and Ruby’s babies. Hopefully they won’t turn out as hotheaded as Ruby. =p

Said I wanted more Gem Pregs, so I decided to draw one myself.
Not exactly too proud of it. The legs are a bit odd, but the belly and chest came off right at least. Had to look at a reference for her face though. I at least HOPE it looks like her somehow (I’m still learning)
I rather like SU. Though it has some shitty fans that make me want to scream at their habits of creating discourse for no reason.
Eh. Lapis is still cute as hell though.
Anyway before any of you complain at me that she could die from having a baby, I blame my bro @several-bellies-fully-lovable for the idea that pregnant gems take in a shard of a broken gem, allowing the shard to grow within the mother like a normal human baby, but wouldn’t end up killing the mother this time around.
Time for another gift/trade for @several-bellies-fully-lovable that involves his favorite gem. Peridot!
This time giving her a once piece swimsuit instead of a bikini since I think it would fit her better.
Though as you can see, she thinks it might be a BIT tight on her and her body. (Cause she’s so smol.)
