♫ - What kind of music do they enjoy?
【 Samson doesn’t typically listen to music as he feels like it invades his already crowded mind with all it’s notes and meanings, but when he does, he tends to gravitate towards alternative tunes and songs with a moderately slow tempo. He never really bothers listening to music that wasn’t made in the 1970′s-80′s. Classic Rock finds his way in there every once in a while, but his preferred choice of music is–amusingly– “vaporwave” (or whatever the kids call it these days). Stumbling across it on YouTube by accident (he was actually trying to find how to fix a microwave), he doesn’t care much for the aesthetic (again, whatever the kids call it these days) that comes with it, but the sluggish and euphoric sounds causes the turmoil to settle and puts his mind at ease.】

♥ - What does ‘love’ mean to them?
Love is being able to share all of herself with someone, it’s being able to get to a level of intimacy so close that they could do all sorts of things together. Things like burying a body or murdering a prostitute for example.

♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)
Skirts. For one, they can be so... revealing. It’s hard enough for him to be around women (another embarrassment), but adding a skirt to that is just begging for a catastrophe.

☺ - do they prefer sour or sweet treats?
sweets, most definitely. snackoos, or karinto in the original version, are ema’s favorite snack – her version are chocolate-covered, but she also loves the ones with brown sugar. she’d likely take a chocolate bar in the most dire of times, but ema needs her snackoos like a university student needs coffee.
not that sour treats aren’t good, of course, but they aren’t really her thing.

✿ - Jobs
Being underage, there aren’t a huge amount of jobs she can get. Waitressing, retail, delivery, these are all things she’s looked into but no one has called her back. She doesn’t have much experience under her belt, so usually her applications and what she calls a resume is pushed to the back of the pile. (HIRE ME!!)
Back in her canonverse, though, May is a seasoned pokemon trainer and a retired coordinator. She’s not particularly famous as a trainer, but she has many fans from her coordinating days. She would travel around to different regions with her friends, and meet new people. So as far as which is better, canon wins.
♫ - Future plans
Graduate from high school, at least. At this moment, she’s not focusing on the future so much right now. She’d rather face things as they come.
Canonverse, her aspirations are much bigger. She wants to travel the world, fill her pokedex and maybe go back to coordinating.
I don’t think one is better than the other on this one. Yes, she knows what she wants in canon, but she is still young and wants to enjoy life. Tie.

☀ - Friends
Well, in canon, Aqua’s two best friends are Terra and Ven and that’s... That’s really about it! She makes a lot of friends along the way during Birth by Sleep but it’s questionable how remembered she even is at the given canon point in KH considering twelve years have passed.
In AU though, Aqua has a lot more friends-- although she’s not best friends with poor little Ventus (yet.) I’d say this is actually better as she is closer to more people and also has significant friendships with the other KH ladies, which don’t exist at all in KH and is one of my major gripes about the series. So yes. AU = much better.
✄ - Lifestyle
In canon, Aqua is a keybearer under the tutelage of Master Eraqus and it’s implied she’s been there for a while along with Terra, and that’s really her, Terra and Ven have ever known. Which in theory is a pretty awesome lifestyle-- especially the kind the three of them dreamed about, with all of them being Masters some day-- but given the events of Birth by Sleep and the rest of the series it’s... It’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Still cool as hell, though.
In AU, Aqua’s life is fairly simple if sad during her childhood given that her parents died and she and Kairi were taken in by their grandparents. (However, I don’t think it’s a far stretch to say Eraqus took her in as an orphan or as a girl with neglectful parents in canon, so both could be sad, who knows.) She’s an overachieving college student, an athlete, a dutiful lifeguard, and over protective older sister. Given her canon background I’m sure she itches for adventure a little.
In terms of peace, AU’s better, in terms of awesome, canon definitely wins.
