“Pinky Promise” and “A Liar with a Promise” are from Andrew’s and Neil’s perspectives respectively. They span over roughly the same time, showing the foundation of their connection as preteens, their years separated from one another, and finally their reunion. You can read either one first, as long as you read them both before “Promise Fullfilled” which takes place during what is to us the beginning of the series.

I have had most of this in my drafts for a while but hadn’t edited it to post and now I have! It’s fucking sad and tragic but has an open ending so really you get to decide how tragic you want this to be.
