For the third member of my fleet, we’ve got Vyn, or Little Vyn as I affectionately call them.
They’re a MSS live steamer (ex Mamod SL-1) and they run alright barring the big leak near their sightglass that I haven’t yet managed to fix. Otherwise, they sure do look brilliant, which is a good thing seeing as I named them after my partner ;). And yes, they love them too.
I have some backburner plans for this little trooper, one day this one will go far! Little Vyn supremacy :3
To continue the look at my engine fleet, here’s Lilly, my LGB Stainz!
She was bought for cheap along with the weird red coach things and had been on the bucket list for a while. She can run, but I hate track power so she is in pieces waiting for me to get off my ass and actually convert her to battery radio control :P
She may not fit in with the rest scale wise, she is sure to be a main stay of the fleet :D
I thought I might give some background on my fleet of engines, so here’s my first: Casey Jones, the old unlucky American workhorse!
She is an ex-Christmas train that I had to modify exstensively, including having to regauge her entirely to fit 45mm track. Currently she’s without power, and I’ve been procrastinating heavily, but I hope she’ll run soon!
