Gate FLIGHTS!!!!!
I was really excited for this shift — it was my first shift with my RAIC (yellow pass)! When I first came into the office, I asked Sofiya which flight(s) I was scheduled for today (10-10-2025). I got so lucky — they gave me the 1200 flight to YVR and the 1620 flight to YOW.
Both flights were amazing! I was with Ms. Jhanine on the first flight, and with Suzanne and Keyshawn on the second. Being with Porter SCRs who are willing to teach you how to operate the windows and log-ins, check the aircraft with grooming and catering, assign seats, and more — it was such a great experience.
I feel very lucky and grateful because the Porter CSRs are allowing me to gain the best experience at the gate. I can’t wait to pursue Porter further once I’m done with school. The way they treat their employees and passengers — always going above and beyond — is truly exceptional.
