The arousing the gate of shock. I have my sun there forever people are saying to me, âoh, you shockâ and I do. But remember we are dealing with individuality. And we have already seen that the deepest theme in individuality is empowerment. I was empowered by shock. You only have to deal with me I had to deal with the voice. I was empowered by shock and it is one of the things to understand about the entire individual process is to recognize that at the core of it you have to hold that theme deep within when you look at individuality. And to remember that that is a selfish process first. In other words there is no way to empower the other until you have been empowered yourself Channel of Initiation. You are not going to be able to take anyone to the place of initiation unless you are initiated yourself. Youâve got to get there. You have to be empowered to begin the process of empowering others.
There is nothing more individual than the Centering circuit. It is about the individual being centered⊠And again its individual itâs still about empowerment but it is about self-empowerment. So itâs all about empowering the self...
So here in the Centering circuit we have a theme of self- empowerment, first thing. Second thing what we are dealing with is that we are dealing with individuality so the moment we know we are dealing with the individual we know we are dealing with melancholy, we know we are dealing with indecisiveness.
Now think about it think about the 51st gate. Everything starts with the 51 and the 51 is called the arousing. Wonderful, wonderful name. You are sitting on a stone in the forest and you reach back your hand and you end up on something furry, and big, and warm. You do not want to arouse that thing because that will be a shock like you cannot imagine.
The 51st gate is a very unusual ego gate. It is connected to the gall bladder, it is connected to gall, out of the gall we get courage and bravery, but it is not there all the time. It has to be aroused. I am a very, very, very difficult man. It is very difficult to get me angry. But, oh boy donât get me there. Because if you arouse that anger it is really something. It is spooky for me, thatâs the shock. The shock is the moment of arousing, it is like a sleeping beast. And all of a sudden there is this moment of arousing and everybody is shocked. Why? It is mutative. It is not always there. Cowards live their fear every moment, but the brave being doesnât even know it is brave until mutation falls into the arousing and all of a sudden everybodyâs astonished that there is all that power and courage, rage and whatever. It is aroused, thatâs the shock, thatâs the whole point.
So when you are looking at this 51st gate this gate of arousing, youâve got to understand what this shock is, these are beings that get aroused to being competitive. This is the need to be first. You know what I like the most? When I first discovered my own design was to enjoy finally being me. You know when I was a kid and people used to say to me, âyou just want to be first,â I would get really pissed. âNo, I don't need to be first. There is nothing wrong with that. As a Manifestor when people would say, you ran me over,â and I go, âah, gee I am sorry.â Now I know yeah of course I need to be first otherwise I wouldnât be standing here teaching you something that I was the first being to understand. It is about needing to be first. It is about being ready to be first if it happens. If it happens. So every once in a while that 51 is suddenly aroused, not all the time. Not all the time, when the mutation is there, when it happens because thatâs the magic of individuality.
So what is initiation? The arousal of innocence. And what is innocence? Innocence is the spirit of the self. And what is initiation? The arousal of the spirit of the self, that is initiation. And when does it happen? It is mutative. When it does happen what is the affect? It is shocking. You can see the innocent spirit of the self aroused to competitiveness, aroused to courage, thatâs where the shock is. And everything about this is that this is the primary initiation of humanity, is the awakening the arousing. In English you can say somebody aroused, they woke up. This is the arousal of the spirit of yourself, of myself. And the moment that you are living the spirit of your self you are shocking, because you are different. Because human beings donât normally live out the spirit of the self.
What makes this such a powerful initiating field? the 25th gate mystically is the gate of the priest, priestess, is that when you look at this channel isolated by itself, this channel by itself is projected. Initiation of the self is here to be recognized by others. If I wasnât what I spoke you wouldnât have anything to do with me. You either recognize I am full of shit or not. This is the heart, this is the most powerful thing that we have. This is the arousing of the true spirit of the self, in the now. And yes it is competitive, if you go into the framework of many religions you see that they are all dreaming of that moment where everyone wakes up. This is the real arousing.
And it is competition to be first not on the mundane plane where you win the race. It is competition to be first in the face of the whole, for yourself. To stand as awakening beings, thatâs the competition, thatâs what itâs all about. Thatâs where this at the mystical level is going. And it is really simple, it is really simple it is just in the keys. Initiation is about waking up the true self. And the true self can never be woken up by you yourself. Awakening happens and only in that awakening moment that mutation happens does the arousing take place, does the power of the heart center, does that power of the gall is there, and the protection is that it is innocent. Innocent, otherwise initiation would be nothing. This is the arousing of innocence the purity of what it is to be you and not somebody else...
The conscious self-empowerment of mutative initiation, it is mutative remember that. It is not like I am initiated 24 hours a day. It is not like I am being initiated 24 hours a day. Initiation comes and goes, it is mutative. The energy is mutative, it is energy after all. So we are dealing with the conscious self-empowerment, self-empowerment, it has got nothing to do with the other. donât feel guilty that you are competitive. Its not about the other itâs about you, you are only running the race against yourself, it is only your raceâŠ
This is the first step in healing them, is for them to understand what self-empowerment really means. And how important it is for them because it is a core of their being and yet it is mutative, it is individual. You have to wait for the arousing. It is not a coincidence that this channel is in Aries, it burns with deep fire. But you can have this huge stack of wood for 20 or 30 years, no match to it, cold as ice. And all of a sudden this fire is lit and you get this incredible arousing of innocence of the true self. The emergence of the true self.
When you are looking at the 25-51 and we are looking at the Centering circuit, the centering circuit is only two channels. The 10-34 which is about following your convictions, and here is initiation. And it is one of the core things to understand about the personal process, is that the personal process isnât just about initiation, it is about whether you can live it. I can initiate you into Human Design, it doesnât mean you are going to live your design. And initiation without the capacity to follow the convictions of that through oneâs behavior, through the 10th gate, that it is only demonstrating in your behavior. And the moment that innocence has been aroused and that its behavior is its self, acting according to its own convictions thatâs centering. Thatâs the most stable thing we have. It is the core of what it is to be human, is to wake up to yourself and instead of saying, âoh I wish I could be that,â is to be it.
