I like Twitter because it’s chatty and easy to meet people and make friends there.

I will say you learn how to edit down your words a lot once you use twitter–because you have to.

And if you can’t, then you thread it.

I talk about this stuff a lot still on Twitter, but I find that Tumblr would actually be a better place for most of my craft discussions—they really need a long, blog-post format. Twitter threads are a stop-gap, but they aren’t really the same medium and they don’t communicate the same way.

Um. Ummmm. This is a hard question. Chronologically? Well, I started Familiar the first time when I was 15, then rewrote it when I was in college, then revised and revise and revised it for a year or two. It’s shelved now, but I still think of it.

Y’know, I have a couple starts to this around somewhere. Some of the half-started stories on my hard-drive feel noir-ish.

15. How do you deal with self-doubt when writing?

Taking a day or two mostly-off (I do write every day, but this is more like one-sentence-only days) and coming back to it when I feel better.

Hahahahah.

Honestly?

Putting random explanations for things in when necessary or I think about it.

So many. It’s a function of how my brain works and it keeps me working properly. I honestly need some more specifics before I can even figure out how to answer this.

I used to write more in multi-POVs, but almost all of the stories I’m really happy with only use one. I don’t know, I guess it just works better for me.

It can be a bit of challenge, but, well, at least I’m not using multiple characters POVs as a crutch.
