Thinking about resurrected Garmadon being super flustered around Misako, because wow she’s so pretty and so kind. Like he wasn’t once married to her and has a whole with her child too.
I love exploring their relationship after Garmadon comes back.
Like Misako respects him and gives him space as he figures out who he is, not wanting to push him back into his old life if he doesn’t want to be a part of it or if he doesn’t remember it. But she still finds herself falling back into old habits, comforting him with a soft smile or a gentle hand.
And Garmadon, an Oni who can only destroy and conquer, he puts these expectations on himself and he can’t follow them because deep down that’s not who he is. He doesn’t understand why he isn’t the person he thinks he is, and he doesn’t understand why he wants to lean into her touch or why his heart skips a beat whenever she smiles at him.
Thinking about them relearning how to love each other again after all these years,,,,
As a HUGE Garmasako fan I must confess- Misako had every right to be with Wu. Yes in S2 or S3 or S4 etc.
After everything she had ZERO obligations towards Garmadon. Wich in my opinion makes their reuinon even cuter.
Chaos at the Beach
It’s been three years since I started this! I know I’ve been posting less lately, but I got engaged in other works. Anyway, I’m not planning to stop anytime soon! I hope you’re still here, and feel free to send requests at any time!
The Garmadon family and the ninja go on a long-awaited trip to the beach.
“I want to go home.” Garmadon sighed as he and Misako sat on their beach towels.
“C’mon, this is going to be a great trip!” Misako encouraged him with a smile. “The beach is beautiful, it’s sunny, the sea is clean—”
“And I’m going to get burned. Remember the last time?”
“You’re not deathly pale because of the venom anymore…”
“Yes, now I’m pale because I avoid the sun.”
“Just put some sunscreen on.” Misako sighed, but smiled as she put a little sunscreen on his nose.
Garmadon couldn’t help but smile. “It’s not that bad if you’ll help me put it on.”
“Of course I will.” Misako immediately replied with a playful smile. “Of course.”
☆☆
“Jay!” Sensei Wu ran toward them. “You can’t throw coconuts into the sea!”
“We did that on—”
“There are people here. It’s dangerous.”
“All right.” Jay sighed and entered the sea. “AGHHHH! IT’S COLD! WHY IS IT SO COLD?!”
☆☆
“This game is so complicated.” Lloyd sighed and put his cards down. “And Mum, you and Master Wu always win. It’s kind of boring.”
“I know.” Garmadon crossed his arms. “Tell me about it.”
“Maybe we can play something else.” Misako proposed, putting her cards away.
“We could.” Lloyd smiled. “Let’s make a sandcastle!”
“Well, that sounds—” Misako smiled.
“How old are—” Garmadon tried to protest, but Misako shot him a warning look.
“All right, let’s do it!”
☆☆
“I have a feeling they enjoy this more than we do.” Lloyd smiled at Misako as they watched Garmadon and Wu compete over who could make the biggest sand sculpture.
“Some things never change.” Misako smiled back at Lloyd. “Are you enjoying our first trip to the beach?”
“I am.” Lloyd smiled and hugged his mum. “It’s wonderful!”
“Misako, Lloyd!” Garmadon ran toward them. “Tell Wu that my statue is bigger!”
“No, mine is!” Wu objected.
Misako and Lloyd burst into laughter. “How old are you two?”
☆☆
“Mum!” Lloyd screamed.
Misako jumped up from putting away their things from the beach.
“Dad got burned and it’s so bad! He said he can’t even move his shoulders!”
“How’s that possible?” Misako followed Lloyd to Garmadon and sighed when she saw him.
He was as red as a tomato.
“Wait…”
“I’ll get the cold compresses!” Lloyd worriedly ran to the kitchen.
“Garmadon!” Misako shouted at him. “What’s wrong with you? You scared the fuck out of me! What got into your head to make you burn yourself this red?!”
“It’s a good tan, isn’t it?” Garmadon chuckled. “You’ve gotta admit, I still know how to make jokes.”
“It’s not funny.”
“Then why are you smiling?” Misako playfully smacked him with a towel.
“I’m going to calm Lloyd down. Poor child is gonna have nightmares because of this.”
“He won’t.” Garmadon mumbled, pulling her closer for a kiss.
“I hope.” Misako smiled at him. “For your own good!”
Garmasako!
So basically this is from a fic idea I had where Garmadon and Misako go adventuring and end up lost together after the merge, my working title for it is Jungle Garmasako.
I don’t know if I’ll ever finish (or post) the fic but we’ll see.

Chapter 2- One thing at a time
Thanks to my beta reade @senseigarmadonfan
Chapter 1
Misako discovers something very strange on the island and has a very unpleasant encounter with Clouse, who is acting weird. Misako and Garmadon realize that they still have unresolved issues they need to face.
Misako's heart clenched as they made their way off the boat to the island. She knew something was strangely wrong but couldn't say what.
And then she made her decision.
Garmadon was talking to the ninja. She was too distracted to participate. The archaeologist clenched her fists, feeling guilty. Garmadon was also distracted, but he still provided the ninja with all the information they needed.
"Because before Chen was my master, he was my sensei."
Garmadon, to the ninja's shock, pulled his shirt down, revealing the Anacondrai tattoo. The tattoo that Misako had always adored... but also the tattoo that was one of Garmadon's biggest regrets. It only brought shame with its gorgeous design.
"Welcome to the To—"
"Cover me!" Misako whispered to Garmadon as the participants began to sit on the floor.
"What? No, Misa—" Garmadon tried to catch her, but she pushed him away. She'd make sure to apologize for that later.
A second later, she was wandering through Chen's palace halls alone.
"Woah..."
Misako admired the magnificent walls and paintings that covered the palace. She had no idea what had brought her there, but something deep inside her called her.
Wandering down the halls felt like forever until she found it.
Misako had seen that portrait thousands of times. She remembered crying in front of it during the night when nobody could see her.
"What...?" she whispered.
What was it doing in the middle of a remote island?
The man in the portrait was tall, black-haired, and handsome, with piercing green eyes. His posture was strict and royal.
"So, what are you doing in front of the portrait of Prince Chivalry?"
"What!?"
Misako's heart almost stopped as her eyes met Clouse's.
"I was just wondering—"
"Wondering is forbidden!" Clouse's eyes grew darker as he stepped closer to her, almost pinning her against the portrait. "You and your husband should sleep outside. There is no—"
"Okay, I'm going." Misako tried to slip past him, but his next words froze her in place.
"You are surprised to see your father here, aren't you?"
Misako's hands started trembling. "M-My father? You must've mistaken me for someone else!"
Her voice was unusually high as she turned toward Clouse, biting her lip. "What nonsense! He's not my father! How could a prince be—"
"STOP!" Clouse almost roared. "Stop! I know that you're lying! You look like him! Just like him!"
Clouse tried to jump and catch her, but she got away and ran through the halls. It was no time for battle.
"What's wrong with you?" She turned to him. His eyes were unnaturally wide.
"You look just like him!!" He screamed and breathed like some sort of maniac.
"Crazy! You're crazy!" Misako screamed and pushed a heavy vase into his path, preventing him from following her.
She had never felt such terror in her life.
Before she could run any farther, she heard Master Chen announce the beginning of the Tournament.
When she found Garmadon, he was fighting Clouse, who was using his dark magic to try to sabotage Lloyd. She was too scared of him to try and help. Misako was very embarrassed because of that.
~~~~~~
"What happens if we lose?" Jay panicked as they gathered for dinner.
"Don't think about that!" Garmadon tried to calm him down.
"It's all I can think about!"
"Mom?" Lloyd gently touched her, pulling her out of her thoughts. "What's wrong? You look..."
Misako sighed, and Lloyd stopped. Garmadon also looked her in the eyes and raised an eyebrow. She still felt shaken from her earlier encounter with Clouse.
If he had known who she was...
"Mum, you don't really look—"
"Lloyd, meet me in my room at midnight," Kai interrupted. "We'll try to find Zane."
"Yes, of course." Lloyd scratched behind his ear.
"Lloyd... there are things about my past that you still need to find out. About your heritage."
Misako gently placed her hand on her son's shoulder. "But tonight isn't the night. Tomorrow."
Misako smiled sadly as she saw the disappointment on her child's face.
If he was disappointed now... how would he feel when he found out the whole truth about his beloved mother?
~~~~~~
"Good night, Mom. Dad." Lloyd hugged her before going to his suite. "How are you gonna—"
"Don't worry, son. We'll figure something out," Sensei smiled at him.
"It's not our first time sleeping in the wild. Good night, Lloyd."
Misako kissed his forehead. Her heart dropped as she watched her only son walk away from her.
How was she going to tell him?
"What's wrong?" Garmadon whispered as they searched for a good place to spend the night. "You look really shaken."
"I-I'll tell you when we find somewhere to stay."
Misako trembled slightly, remembering what had happened. Garmadon put his protective arm around her, and she gladly leaned into him.
Even though he couldn't protect her from what was about to happen.
Nobody could.
~~~~~
"Yes." Misako smiled as she lit the fire."That should be enough to keep us warm."
"Yeah." Garmadon smiled and sat closer to her.
Thanks to her work and his training, husband and wife rarely spent quality time together anymore.
They sat beside a beautiful lake.
Garmadon remembered that lake very well. He would often come there thinking about her, wishing for this moment to become real.
And when he finally got her back...
He let her go that easily.
He let them fall apart.
"What happened earlier?" His hand gently touched hers, offering comfort.
"Clouse... he... They have the portrait of my father, and when Clouse came... he said he knows Prince Chivalry is my father. And now... what else does he know? What if he tells Lloyd about it? No... what if he knows everything? What if he—"
"Misako!" Garmadon caught her by the shoulders. "Calm down."
He spoke more gently. "You're going to have a panic attack."
"I..." Misako breathed rapidly. "He knows who I am, Garmadon! And when I tried to deny it, he just screamed and started acting like a psycho! He screamed that I look so much like Chivalry. He..."
Misako's eyes widened as she looked at her husband.
"Misako..." Garmadon sighed, pulling her close once again. "You need to calm down. Your past... it..."
He sighed again. "You had no choice. You were doing what you thought you were supposed to do. Lloyd will understand. If he forgave me for everything, why do you think he'd be angry with you?"
"But you were under the venom." Misako sighed as all the energy left her together with the weight of the panic.
"I wasn't... I..."
"You had a hard childhood." He looked at her sadly. "Thanks to me, you also had a hard adulthood."
"Garm..." Misako gently traced his face, only inches away from hers. "How do I tell him?"
"One thing at a time." Garmadon kissed her cheek and took both of her hands in his.
They stood together in the beautiful nature.
Beautiful nature on such a cursed island.
Husband and wife, looking into each other's eyes.
"It's been a long time since we were like this." Garmadon whispered, gently tracing her face.
"I know." Misako looked at the ground.
The archaeologist was well aware of how things were between her and her husband.
"You know... maybe this is one positive thing about all of this." She smiled faintly. "Maybe it'll bring us closer."
The former Dark Lord smiled warmly at her. "Well... that's the Misako I know."
With that, he kissed her on the lips and pulled her into his embrace, where they lay beneath the stars.
But the burdens both of them carried were too heavy for either of them to sleep peacefully.
~~~~~~
"Have I mentioned earlier that I'm definitely gonna kill Clouse for attacking you?" Sensei mumbled.
Misako, half asleep, her head on his chest, sat up.
"No," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Don't mention this to him and maybe—"
Maybe he won't tell Lloyd.
Garmadon sighed heavily. "I'll get him for this after the end of this cursed tournament. Until then, be careful. I'm never gonna let them hurt you. Never."
