I've been working on some Settlements with what's available in the StoryWealth mod collection (which I wish included way more of the settlement item packs but oh well). First up is Red Rocket!

I forgot to grab pictures of the interior but there are about 16 individual bedrooms and a large communal space on the first floor.

I tend to organize my supply lines in a hub and spoke configuration and use Starlight Drive-In as the center of the whole network.

From the front entrance (aka the one angle all of the random attacks come from). I set up multiple turrets on the billboard I couldn't scrap. The left part of the structure from this view was built on the top of the art deco wing the cars used to drive under. The center-ish part is the community room with the workout equipment and boardgame shelf.

The rear view of that half of the building. Not to toot my own horn but I fucking nailed the alignment of the warehouse floors when I started building the thing. On the right is the community room. The left is the private double-sized player bedroom. There's a cooking station and a coffee maker in the old concession stand on the level below.

I built a utility building around the pond in the middle of the map for the water purifier, generator, and workbenches. On the back of the building is the strip mall with Doc Ghouliette's clinic, the general goods trader, and the Starlight Diner.

Featuring a smell so strong it's still present even 200 years after the end of the world, this lottle corner of the Commonwealth, once a waste treatment plant, is now an up and coming farming community.

Passing through the security gate you'll likely notice the farm straight ahead and immediately to your left is the main building.

Featuring an elevated Minutemen artillery position for maximum visibility, the inside retains the Warwick family charm.

I haven't done quite as much building at Sanctuary Hills compared to the other settlement locations for a couple of reasons. The first being that one of the mods in the StoryWealth collection gives you the ability to repair pre-war buildings to a much more acceptable level (not quite new, but no holes in the roofs.) The second being Sanctuary Hills is where I tend to banish annoying NPCs *cough* Preston and Mama Murphy *cough* so I hardly ever visit the place. Still, I have made some improvements.

Welcome to Sanctuary Hills. One of the nicest communities in the Commonwealth. Crossing the recently restored Old North Bridge you'll be greeted by Marcy Long, head of the community welcoming committee (and security).

Just past the guard post is the Sanctuary Hotel. Four deluxe rooms ready to accept any trade caravans or wasteland wanderers who visit the community.

We've literally rolled out the red carpet for you.

Excellent pre-war beds await the tired traveler.

If you're looking to spend some caps we have a two story shopping center.

Complete with a clinic, a general trader, and of course...

The Slog has a great location for connecting settlements in the north east, it has a unique feel due to it's starting all ghoul population, and it has tarberries. Too bad there's almost no room to develop anything that isn't immediately in the crosshairs of the Forged every time they respawn.

Out front I have a Minuteman watch tower, way in the back I've built one of those huge spherical water towers for 65 water (mostly because I hadn't built one yet. Looks neat.)

The ability to repair per-existing structures let me restore the toy maker's shack and all of the broken windows on the pool house.

Up top I have a reinforced reactor room for the generator (on the left) and a small barracks for Minutemen patrols to sleep in. On the far left you can see the standard apartment and community center.

Along with a clinic for settler health and shopping (because it's one of the few things that improves happiness.)

An inconveniently located settlement with a decent amount of space to work with. I decided to go with a more "post-apoc beach community" vibe instead of just stuffing NPCs into a place I made out of old warehouse parts.

(This game can be super pretty sometimes.)

I've always been a little fond of this settlement location and I can't really say why. Maybe it's because it's a decaying mansion where a ghoulish pre-war wealthy family turned into actual ghouls when the world ended, and then their ironic fate was ended because I needed a convenient place to set up a Minutemen farm.

One of the mods in the StoryWealth collection let me restore it to some semblance of it's pre-war glory (or at least let me patch the walls, floors, and roof) and that gave me a nice canvas to start with.

The little balcony on the third floor is, if you manage to nail the alignment (because nothing snaps to pre-existing structures much to my frustration) exactly two by two floors in size and the roof is exactly one standard warehouse staircase above that.

I decided to make it more of an observation station and added a catwalk around the top for turrets. It has an unobstructed 360 degree view of the surrounding area. The first floor has just enough space for a clinic and bar so the settlers have something to do.

The entrance is flanked by my standard concrete turret walls (I hate the "whatever settlement needs your help" messages interrupting what I'm doing so I load all of these places with absurd numbers of turrets.)

Somerville Place is in the ass end of the Commonwealth. I sat on the Minutemen quest to help the place for about a hundred hours because keeping it supplied was going to be tough. (I don't like really long supply line connections.)

The ground is a little uneven and the existing house doesn't lend itself to much more than the three folks who already live there, but if you can't build out, then build up.

I added three stories to the existing house. The first floor includes turrets for 360 degrees of protection, spotlights, the power generator, and a nice lounge.

The second and third floors are individual bedrooms and a couple of balconies to relax against the rails and enjoy some 200 year old cigs.
