Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden has its faults, but by God, the relationship between the main characters Red and Antea is not one of them. They have such a refreshingly healthy and loving relationship that you rarely see nowadays.
They banter, they tease each other, they flirt and it's all very lowkey. It's not hot and steamy, sex isn't even on the table for the entire game seeing as one of them is dead, but they don't shy away from that aspect either, for example when they talk about how they miss each other's warmth. But it's just so stable, casual, mature and real. Two long term partners who have no need for useless drama. This game really needs more attention.
Also it helps that Red mac Raith is stupid hot with his golden retriever rizz.
And completely off topic, but the Banisher creed goes hard as fuck. "Life to the living. Death to the dead." Simple, effective, clear cut. Love it.
