I recently hit 300 Followers. While I do plan on drawing a picture for this occasion, here have a sneak peak of what I’ve been working on! It’s, hopefully, a demo! I definitely will need some feedback to make this work as well as I can.

I promised a video by tomorrow, but like. I mean I wasn’t completely wrong.  But I got to finish up something else since the gif didn’t work. Here! Have another lightning+item combo.

Today I’ve learned. Hey.. Sound effects? They are really difficult to make! I plan on testing and re-testing and testing again all of these sound effects until I get them the way that sounds good and isn’t ear grating. This is my first time making sound effects, I am not expecting them to be perfect.

What’s that? It’s 3:00 am in the morning? Post an update! I will reblog this when I am less tired and when people are actually awake. This took so long.

This wasn’t nearly as hard to fix as I was expecting. It was actually pretty fun to do. I still have a ton of stuff to add in, like hazards, enemies and the lake, but I enjoy how this area looks. I might need to slow down the background twice as much as well.

So a good bit I was reworking my code to make this work again. I had it working in the past, as shown off, but I was very dissatisfied with what I had done and how I coded it. Now? It’s cleaner, smoother, has new animation, sprites are changed to look a little sleeker. Smog heart looks like an actual smog heart. While not shown in here, half heart was also redone. No more effects on it!

Small update to a larger update. I added a pause to Merlin’s moveset so that when you hit something you can think about what you want to do next. Not all attacks do this, of course, just the strong ones.
