I promised a video by tomorrow, but like. I mean I wasn’t completely wrong.  But I got to finish up something else since the gif didn’t work. Here! Have another lightning+item combo.

Sometimes I just have too much fun with what I do. This is one of many items in the game. And the finished version will be released sometimes before October 31st. I am hoping. Since that is when this ends.

This is quite painful. Despite having such a short amount of time, I still want to make the game fun to mess around in. So in this game, weapons will have combos with some other attacks. Try them all out to see what happens! Tumblr broke the image. I will make a video tomorrow. For now I am tired.

This wasn’t nearly as hard to fix as I was expecting. It was actually pretty fun to do. I still have a ton of stuff to add in, like hazards, enemies and the lake, but I enjoy how this area looks. I might need to slow down the background twice as much as well.

So a good bit I was reworking my code to make this work again. I had it working in the past, as shown off, but I was very dissatisfied with what I had done and how I coded it. Now? It’s cleaner, smoother, has new animation, sprites are changed to look a little sleeker. Smog heart looks like an actual smog heart. While not shown in here, half heart was also redone. No more effects on it!

Small update to a larger update. I added a pause to Merlin’s moveset so that when you hit something you can think about what you want to do next. Not all attacks do this, of course, just the strong ones.
