I have a few remaining photos from last year’s game demos at conventions that I didn’t post last year, knowing that they would get lost in the shuffle among my Outcasts of the Rift Kickstarter posts. Here is the first set from RetroXpo (not to be confused with Retro World Expo, which I have also hosted game demos at before.) This convention happened last September in Tiverton, RI.
As you can tell from my hair, it was incredibly humid that day! The air was so thick that it was hard to breathe outdoors. Thankfully the rain held off until after RetroXpo, but that meant I had to drive home three hours (through north and south Metro Boston, which is a hellish drive even in good weather!) in torrential rain. Some other good came out of my trip down to Tiverton. While I was in Tiverton, I also had the chance to eat at an excellent French restaurant called Moulin Rouge.
