And I cannot stress enough how accessible this game is

You can play anywhere from hard to god mode

I am not good at video games and have limited dexterity and chronic pain in my hands and I am able to play on easy mode with just automatic cooking, cleaning, fishing on and time paused on crusades

But you can play just on easy

Or you can turn on preferred weapons

Preferred spells

Infinite health

Etc

Plus high contrast text

Dyslexic friendly text

Dark mode main menu

This game goes out of its way to make itself playable and fun for anyone and I appreciate the shit out of that

And you can play with high difficulty and it is a hard game when you do that and not just for me

But it's not inaccessible to people like me and I really fucking appreciate that

I can do that!

I have professional experience creating captions and subtitles for film, TV, and YouTube. Right now, I’m focusing on a limited number of projects and prioritizing smaller indie creators (especially — but not only — those who identify as queer and/or disabled).

I also do subtitles specifically for vloggers and other online creatives (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) who are genuinely interested in accessibility and don't just want to rely on the auto-generated subtitles, because those are shit.

If anybody else wants to help me try to make it clear to the company running the Nintendo switch port that the accessibility feature needs to be fixed I’d appreciate it!

When I first started working on the Godot Accessibility Suite, someone asked what the best way to provide caption support was. Now, I'm not sure if I have an answer for the best way, but there's definitely an answer for a way!

Fully and easily customizable captions that can sync with any audio files using the common .srt format used for subtitles and captions on sites like YouTube! But the work has only just begun!
