Day 1 of first vacation in over 2yrs: Travel went smoothly, ate some good airport grub, enjoyed free airplane booze, made it to Tulum hella late, to find that the coolest AirBnB’s door was super hard to open, forcing me to sit and wait for the owner—all the while being hella hangry. Finally, made it inside around 9:45p, just in time to learn that the WiFi doesn’t work, and in time to have an extremely late dinner at a fusion Mexican/Argentina spot, that served me their delicious special that will probably give me meat sweats tonight. But the pool outside my front door? That will certainly make up for tonight, tomorrow.
