There was a pounding on the front door and you went to answer it, already tense. It was exactly who you expected it to be when you pulled it open.
“Uhhhh why is the house warded?”
You crossed your arms and gave hime a steely stare. “Probably to keep out angels.”
“Anyone I know?” he retorted, his lips curving in that wide boyish smile. It faded quickly when there was no sign of amusement on your face. He ran a hand back through his hair and straightened up, relinquishing his hold on the doorframe. “You’re angry,” he observed.
You scoffed. “Where were you? I waited for four fucking hours, Gabe, and you didn’t show up. I was sitting there waiting, and I felt like an idiot! How am I supposed to explain you not showing up to my parents?”
“I—there was a candy store and you know how rabid my sweet tooth is,” he joked, cocking another smile he hoped would disarm you. That wasn’t what happened though.
You swore under your breath and grabbed the door, getting ready to slam it in his face. “You can be such a prick sometimes!” There was a glassiness in your eyes now and he crumbled, his carefree façade falling away.
“Whoa, whoa—Wait! WAIT! I’m sorry! I’m really sorry...” It was the softness in his voice that stopped you, but you gave him a hesitant stare. “I just—you know I have... issues with—”
“Gabriel, this was important to me. Regardless of your family issues, I expected you to be there for me with mine. And you weren’t. I honestly don’t know where this leaves us... If I can’t count on you to be there for me when it counts, what are we doing?”
Gabriel was staring at you, devastation cresting over his face. His voice was sincere and vulnerable this time. “I know that I screwed up. I know. I’m so sorry. I wish I could go back and kick my own ass and change it but just—just tell me how to make it up to you and I will. I promise it won’t happen again, just tell me what to do—”
You stared at the dewiness in his eyes and the genuine remorse written all over his face. “Figure out how to solve this one on your own. I’m not gonna tell you what to do.”
He straightened up, slightly renewed. “Okay. I can do that. I will. I’m—Y/N, I’m so, so sorry. You have to know that.”
You nodded, feeling yourself wavering as his golden eyes met yours. “I know. Just—do better. And I need some time.” Closing the door again was one of the hardest things you’d ever done.
Prompt: “You can be such a prick sometimes!”

“Come on, Sugar, let me see them.” Gabe followed you across the parking lot.
“See what?” Dean asked confused.
“No.”
“Show me yours and I'll show you mine?” Gabe wiggled his eyebrows.
Dean sat up straight in the pool chair he was lounging in. Why the motel even had them surrounding a pool that looked like it’d been empty for years, he didn't know, but there was a cool breeze that evening that paired nicely with his cold beer, so they were relaxing outside for a change. “What the hell is he talking about.”
“Sounds like he wants to see her breasts..” Sam mused.
“Wouldn't mind seeing them either, but why hound the girl?”
“He wishes to see her wings.” Cas glanced up from where he lay, as if tanning despite still wearing his suit and trench coat.
“What wings?” Dean looked past his brother, to the angel.
“Pleaseeee.” Gabe was on the ground, clinging to your ankle like a child so you couldn't walk away again.
“Alright, Jesus Christ!” He scrambled up as you grabbed the hem of your shirt and pulled it off, right there in the parking lot. Dean and Sam's eyes went wide when they saw you weren't wearing a bra under your shirt. “Happy?” you asked, turning your back to him to reveal tattooed wings on your back.
“I am.” Dean muttered, with a full view of your front. Sam nodded quietly.
“You know that's not what I'm talking about, Cupcake.” Gabe said quietly.
You growled at him and stormed past the boys, going for your motel room. Their eyes following you, Dean taking in the wings. “Did you know she had that?”
“Never seen her with anything less than a t-shirt before.” Sam answered quietly, in awe of the dragon like wings tattooed to your back. The door slammed shut, and a moment later, Gabe was opening it and walking through it as well. “Just show me.” he whined, door closing behind him.
Dean looked to Sam and then Cas. Sam shrugged, but Cas was laying back again with his eyes closed.
You sighed. “Please, Gabriel.. They don't know.” You turned and gave him a sad look. “And mine.. they aren't as beautiful as angel wings.”
“Show me.” he urged softly. “It's just us in here.”
“Sometimes I hate you.”
“You love me.” he smiled, watching as you sat in the middle of the bed, your back to him and the door and window behind him.
“Nope, I need to know.” Dean jumped up and hurried over towards the window. Finding a crack in the curtains he watched as you sat on the bed.
“You're such a perv.” Sam muttered to his brother as he looked in over his brothers head.
“You're one to talk..” Dean mumbled, and they watched.
With a sigh, you closed your eyes and concentrated.
The color and shading of your tattoo took on a more lifelike tone and a slight shimmer from the light. And slowly, it began to lift off your back, the two large tattooed wings began to unfurl and grow larger as your wings spread out behind you.
“Stunning.” Gabriel breathed out as he reached out.
“Don't.” you turned your head. “You know how intimate that is..”
“Oh I do, darling..” he moved around, ducking under a wing to view them from the front. “They're beautiful.. you're beautiful. Can I see your full form?”
“Don't push it.” you warned him.
He laughed, and as it rang in your ears, his own wings spread out, golden and almost as large as yours. “Promise is a promise.” you sighed and looked down. “What's wrong?”
“I wish mine were as beautiful as yours. Mine are.. scary.. dark..” You were cut off by a shiver that rolled through your whole body starting from your right wing. When you looked up, Gabriel was running his fingers over it.
“Brilliant with so much color in the light.” he pointed out, in awe of them, his fingers moving over scales towards your shoulder. “Blues, greens, purples.. all I've got is gold.” You blushed, your body warming and shivering again as he continued to run his fingers over your wings.
“Son of a bitch.” Dean's eyes were wide. “Shes’s-”
“A 148 year old dragon.” Cas answered from behind the brothers and they both turned. “Still a very young, by their life spans. Gabe has been infatuated with her for some time, really.”
“That's why he started showing up more the last few months.. she's been with us.” Cas nodded to Sam.
“How- why-” Dean couldn't get his thoughts straight. “But she-”
“Not everything is black and white, you taught me that.” Cas pointed out. “Not everything supernatural is a monster. I'm not. She's not.” he glanced to the window behind them. “She's killed her own kind for you.” Cas reminded him of how they had met you, when you saved Sam's life and instantly won over Dean.
Dean groaned. “What do we do?”
“Nothing.” Sam answered, earning a look from his brother. “Look, she's our friend, right? You called her family yourself, Dean.” Dean rolled his eyes. “She's obviously scared to tell us, we're hunters. So, we act like we don't know. Wait for her to be ready to tell us.”
Dean glanced back inside and sighed. “Yeah, whatever.”
It was going to be hard for Dean to pretend he didn't know. He could lie better than most, he had a lifetime of practice, but certain things he had trouble hiding, especially from those closest to him. And you were pretty damn close.
Dean had decided to start simple. Bring you breakfast. If he could handle breakfast, he could handle the rest of the day. And if not, well, at least they'd be in a public place, so fallout was limited.
Knocking on your door, there was no answer. Trying the knob, he found it unlocked. He glanced over at Sam and Cas who were coming out of the next room, Sam pulling on his jacket, then Dean pushed the door open.
“Sweetheart, we're going for breakfast, are you-” the words fell silent on his lips as he took in the sight before him
Gabriel had done something to the room, it was much larger inside than it should have been. It was about the size of five rooms, easily, and three stories high, with a night sky for a ceiling. The furniture was gone, just a pile of pillows and blankets almost like a nest covered the floor. Dean couldn't step inside if he wanted to. And smack in the center, was a sleeping dragon wrapped around the angel. The massive iridescent wings wrapped protectively around his sleeping form as he cuddled up to a tail.
“Guys… I can pretend I didn't know yesterday, but I can't unsee this…”
Sam glanced in, and your eyes shot open and your head came up. “Oh..” Sam breathed out.
In a panic, you changed back to your human form, naked and small in the massive room. Before anyone could do or say anything, Gabes wings wrapped around you. “It took me all night to get that comfortable.” he grumbled and you huddled in his wings trying to hide. “What do you two knuckleheads want?”
“We-” Dean licked his lips. “We wanted to know if you guys were joining us for breakfast..” You peeked out from Gabe’s wings, and he didn’t miss how scared you looked. “We’ll be waiting by the car while you get dressed.” He gave you a soft smile and shoved Sam out of the doorway so he could leave and close it behind him.
“Do you think they hate me?” You looked up at Gabe.
“No, my little sweet potato.” He shook his head. “I think, maybe, they might be a little hurt you didn’t tell them. But they love you.” He gave you a smile and you nodded. “Hey, you never answered me last night. What’s your favorite treasure?” You gave him an innocent smile, and he shivered feeling your fingers brush over his wings. “Ouch!” He yelped pulling back and you stood there rolling a single feather between your fingers.
“Angel feathers.” You smiled softly. “They’re rare, and I always wanted wings that beautiful… I think yours are my favorite.”
“Mine are my favorite too..” He muttered, shooting you a glare while he fussed over the wing. But he couldn’t help but smile at how you looked at that one feather of his, like it was the most precious thing in the world. “Alight, get dressed before dumb and dumber come back in.” He snapped his fingers and the room was how it should be, including your clothes on the floor.
“Gabe?”
“Yeah?”
“Thank you. For making me open up, and for another feather.”
“Yeah yeah, just don’t yank it out next time.” He teased. “Or I’m taking a scale for my collection.”
“You don’t have one.” You chuckled.
“I’ll start one.” He threatened and pointed at you.

13 and Gabriel/Loki after reader takes a prank war too far by waking him up with a snake in his face (Context: Loki was tied to a rock with the entrails of his kids and left there while a snake dripped poison in his eyes. It was very traumatic.)
Oof. I love knowing random stuff and all, but I really do think that I could’ve gone my whole life without needing to know that. ———————Gabriel hadn’t spoken to you in two days. And it all started with that stupid snake. The not-even physical snake. In your defense, sometimes you were really forgetful. It was not the best defense. But did he really expect you to memorize everything about the life of Loki? He looked so peaceful in his sleeping bag, of course, given that he had barely helped setting up camp the day before. It’s not like his pranks also did you any good. You were frustrated and wanted some innocent revenge, that’s all it was supposed to be. You didn’t expect him to fly away from his spot so quick after you wiggled a stick on top of his bag and shouted “snake!”. You also didn’t expect the fight that ensued after that, most of it with you apologizing for what you’d done. And now, after coming back from collecting wood with Sam, you watched with wide eyes as he packed up his bag. You quickly dropped off the wood and followed him into the tent, undoubtedly for him to get more of his things. “Gabe?” you asked cautiously. Part of this camping trip was for you two to spend some time together alone, and you couldn’t help to feel your heart tighten as you watched him pack. “What are you doing?” “Packing, obviously.” You couldn’t see his expression. “Are we breaking up?” you asked shakily, the drop in your voice giving your fear away.Gabriel turned to you immediately, taking you in his arms as soon as he saw your tears. “Please don’t leave me,” you whispered against his chest. “Oh, babe, no, no, no,” Gabriel said, kissing the top of your head. “I’m sorry, that’s not what’s happening. I-I just, I realized I was acting like a jerk these last few days. I know you didn’t mean to hurt me. I thought maybe if we got away, just the two of us, I might be able to apologize for my behavior.”“I should be the one apologizing.” “Trust me, you’ve apologized enough times.”
A/N: I’M BAAAAACK! Some lines are taken directly from mentioned post, but the rest is 100% mine. Requests are OPEN!
At first, he’s going to act human. Not many humans will ever know that he is actually an angel. You’ll fall for his sass; the way he can turn anything into a joke, the way he lights up whenever you laugh, and his not-going-to-take-anyone’s-shit attitude. His eyes will mesmerize you. The way the sun hits them juuuust right and the flecks of goldish-brown that dance just for you.
He will spoil you. You will think that it’s because he gets you, which he does, but that’s because he can read your mind. This will annoy you whenever you are upset with him because he will always win arguments simply because he already knows what you are going to say and why you’re mad.
He’ll tell you that he’s an angel before you make any physical contact because he wants to be the one to tell you, not his body. When you first go to run your hands through his hair, his halo will slice your palm. It will hurt. He’ll heal you immediately, and leave before you even get a chance to process what just transpired. He will be gone for a week. You will ask yourself what you did wrong. You will pray to him and tell him how sorry you are because you will think that you disrespected him in some way because you don’t understand. Later, he will tell you that he didn’t realize how fragile humans are. When he explains what it takes to make an angel bleed, you will begin to understand.
He doesn’t eat. This will throw a wrench in your plans for date night when he spends the entire meal watching you, and not eating. You will ask him why he hasn’t touched his food and he will take a single bite, for you. Little do you know that he doesn’t taste how the spices in the sauce come together to deliver the best taste you’ve ever experienced. He will only taste the molecules, and they don’t taste great, but he’ll do anything to please you.
He’ll take you places that you never even knew existed. Nauru being one of them, when you look up the country you will see that only 200 tourists visited in 2011. Gabriel will take you there because it’s quiet and the coral reefs are loaded with exotic wildlife so you will go snorkeling here. Kyrgyzstan is a country trapped between mountain ranges so the locals mostly ride horseback. Gabriel will jokingly ask you if you want to play kyz kuumai, a local game where a man on horseback tries to steal a kiss from a woman on horseback, and if he fails she beats him with a whip.
Ask him about the things you love, like the cosmos. He’ll tell you how amazing it looks and how it was all made if you want to know. He’ll take you to the darkest place on Earth so you can look up and see more stars than you could have ever thought were possible. He’ll point out each planet and tell you about them in so much detail. You can ask him anything, but whatever you do, do not ask about the others. The other angels, Lucifer, Michael, or any of the others. Don’t ask because he will change before your very eyes. He will become a soldier. Never ever ask about God, do not ask about rebellious older brothers and absentee fathers, do not infer about a war you know nothing of.
His wings are a big deal. No angel will ever show a human their wings, but Gabriel will show you his because he is so deeply in love with you that he doesn’t care. You will be in awe of just how big his wings are. You will ask him how he can possibly fit inside a room, let alone fit through the door. He will show you how his wings fold up and press against his body so tightly that they just look like a tattoo on his back. He will use his wings to shield you from any pain and suffering. He will wrap you up in them and you will feel safer than you ever have before. He will allow you to run your hand through his feathers. He loves it, maybe a little too much.
The sex will be extraordinary. His grace will surround you, caressing you, not in a sexual way, but in a soothing way. He saves all the sexual stuff for his body only. He will leave a trail of kisses along your skin that you will feel for years. The way his body fits with yours will feel like you are right where you need to be, who you need to be with. He will make your body sing, you will praise his name, and you will whisper your prayers against his lips. He’ll already know where all your soft spots are, because he knows you better than you know yourself.
But most of all, the heartbreak will be the worst. Knowing you don’t belong together, but still trying to make it work will tear you in two. You will spend that first night without him crying until you can’t breathe, or even speak. It will hurt knowing that he can hear your cries, but knowing he won’t come. He won’t look at you the same way ever again. That soldier I mentioned? That’s what he becomes to avoid showing you how he really feels. Deep down, you will know that somewhere in there, he is hurting too, and somehow, that makes it even worse.
I’m writing this to tell you of my experience with Gabriel. I have and always will love him, but our time is over now. Take care of him, because I know he will take care of you. Don’t ask him why we broke up, because it was my decision, not his. Give him everything you have to offer, you won’t regret it. I hope you are the one for him.
Summary: You come home after a stressful day and Gabe comforts you.
Words:767
You walked into your apartment tired from the day of work and school, you were a full-time college student and picked up shifts at the diner down the road. That’s where you met your boyfriend Gabe who was now sitting on your couch flipping through TV channels. You had prayed for him to come over and he always happened to answer your prayers, over anyone else’s.
“How was work sugar?” He asked as you slipped out of the clunky black no slip shoes. You just huffed slightly as you sat next to him. He pulled you closer playing with you Y/H/C hair, you rested your head on his broad shoulder and kissed his cheek.
“I’m exhausted there was an old man that constantly blamed me for everything being wrong like I control the cooks or something, and then I got like zero tips. Not to mention classes today were-” He silenced your ranting with a gentle kiss before snapping his fingers, the coffee table was now covered in all of your favorite candies and desserts. He also pulled out your favorite kind of flowers from behind his back. He stood then kissing you on the forehead.
“I’m going to put these in water and grab some blankets.” You smiled at the archangel watching him walk into your kitchen.
You guys made a huge blanket fort, curtesy of Gabe mostly. His child-like behavior was something that always made you incredibly happy. He sat there sucking on a lollipop watching the movie that you put on. You snuggled up next to him, now in pjs, the stress of the day completely leaving your body as you leaned against him. You always felt so free around him, and you refused to chop it up to his grace. Even when he finally told you what he really was.
You both had already been a year into the relationship and you were reading for the religion class you were taking. You were both sitting outside at a park nearby. Gabe planned a picnic for you both after classes, you looked up at him from your spot leaning on his chest and asked one simple little question that tends to pop up in every relationship.
“Gabe what do you believe in?” He chuckled a bit at the question, running his fingers through his honey colored hair.
“Well sugar… I believe that everyone should play the part they were born to play.” He shrugged before going back to starring at the clouds. You felt something off with him then and sat up.
“You know you can tell me anything right?” You were facing him now sitting crisscross your religion book open on your lap. He smiled before leaning over and kissing you gently on the nose.
“I know… just some things are a little more difficult.” He looked around then to make sure no one was paying attention then returned to your curious gaze. “I’m an archangel.” He whispered. You bit your lip trying not to laugh. You were never a religion person, you believed that something was there, but you didn’t know what and you had no control over it. He saw the look in your eyes and sighed. “I can prove it.” He spoke confidently. You smirked and waved your hand as if to tell him to go on. He gave you his signature grin and suddenly you saw beautiful golden wings. Your breath caught, he smiled and after you blinked they were gone. Your mind was racing then, if he was an archangel why would he be with you. You were just a normal girl. He smiled and kissed you gently. “I could never imagine myself with anyone else Y/N”
Now here you were a year later knowing about him being and angel and honestly it was something that you loved about him. You knew you were safe all the time even if he wasn’t around. He wrapped his arm around you and you curled into him kissing his lips slightly.
“I love you.” You whispered, he smiled pulling you closer to him.
“And I love you.” His words were soft and sweet and even though he said it a million times before it still sent a giddy sensation into your veins. His hand gently caressing your arm and his other playing with your hair. You yawned the events of the day finally catching up to you. He lifted you up gently and carried you to your bedroom where he laid with you wrapping you up in blankets. He was definitely the love of your life and nothing could change that.

You started to stir and Gabriel was immediately on his feet beside you, grasping your hand. You squeezed back and your eyes fluttered open. Honey and amber-colored eyes were looking down at you. You knew every fleck in them. You squeezed his hand more tightly. “Gabe.”
He quirked a small smile at you. “I’m right here.”
You searched his face for a moment, disbelief that he was actually there in front of you. “I—I thought I lost you.”
His brow drew down low over his eyes. “Me? This trickster? Never.” With his free hand, he gently stroked your hair. “Can’t lose me. I’m like—”
“—don’t say the herpes thing,” you cut him off, a small smile on your lips.”
He laughed but then his expression turned more sincere. “I thought I lost you.”
“You almost did.”
“I don’t know what I’d do without you,” he said. “So, don’t ever do that again.”
“I’ll try. But with you back, I’m not worried.”
You pressed into Gabriel and melted until you were nothing but sensations--his fingertips trailing over your bare skin, his lips on your neck, his teeth gently biting your bottom lip.
Your breaths were coming in deep, life-giving gasps as you dragged your fingernails down his back, feeling his kisses growing more insistent, more intense. Warmth was blooming outward from your chest, spreading down to your fingers and toes. A small moan escaped your lips as you bit his earlobe and he moved his hips in sync with yours.
“Hey!” There was a thunderous noise very close to your ear and you jolted upright, your eyes flying wide open, your heart leaping in your chest.
”Shit!”
Dean had dropped a heavy book down on the table right next to you where you had fallen asleep on your arms after burning the midnight oil on research. “Jesus. I was starting to think you were dead. You were really out,” he said, giving you an amused look.
You cleared your throat and touched a hand to your face which felt warm as the images from your dream were still fading.
Dean’s brow dropped down low over his eyes. “You okay?”
“Huh? Oh--yeah. Why?”
“Your face is all red,” he said. “Are you sick?”
“Sick? No. No... you just, uhh, you startled me.”
Dean gave a satisfied chuckle. “That was the point,” he said, opening the book next to you on the table. “Gabriel is coming by in a bit,” he said casually. “We’re gonna go over somethings.”
You gulped and felt your pulse quicken. “Gab--Gabriel is coming here?”
Dean gave you a weird look. He must have heard the shakiness in your voice. And it was a good thing that you were sitting down because your knees felt weak. “Yeah. Is that a problem?”
You shook your head. “Nope! No. Not a problem.” You cleared your throat again nervously. “I’ll be back,” you said, getting up abruptly and practically running out of the room.
Dean watched you go in confusion. “Ooookaaaay...”
You ducked into the bathroom and shut the door, pressing your back up against it and shutting your eyes. Oh my God. You could still see him in your mind’s eye... You brushed a hand over your face and pressed it over your heart, which was racing. Jesus.
You checked your reflection and smoothed your hair, which was a little wild and reached for your toothbrush. Your neck was sore from sleeping slumped over on your book. In a few minutes you came back out into the main room and froze at the threshold when you saw two figures now standing over the table. They both looked up at you, Dean and Gabriel.
You gulped at the tightness in your throat and tried to ignore the odd tingling sensation that started in you chest and moved outward.
“Hello,” Gabriel said, giving you a small smile.
“Hi,” was all you could manage. You forced your feet to propel you forward and joined Dean and the archangel at the table. You stared down at the map and papers Dean had spread over the table, and you watched him point to various locations, but you heard almost nothing of it.
You suddenly felt Gabriel’s eyes on you and you allowed yourself a covert glance in his direction. He wasn’t looking down at the map. He was looking at you. And maybe you were imagining it.... probably... but you thought there was something in his eyes--goosebumps rose on your arms and an electric chill ran up your back. Your breath and pulse quickened. His golden irises were fixed on you, and a small smile played across his lips. You felt like he was reading your mind. You looked away, though you could still feel his eyes lingering on you for a long moment. God. It felt like he knew what you had dreamt about, what you were thinking... But that was impossible. Right?
This imagine brought to you for Supporting Character Saturday!
You rushed to the front door and yanked it open, surprised to find Gabriel standing on your stoop with a tiny fake french mustache stuck on his upper lip.
You put a hand to your forehead. “Oh... God. Gabe--”
“Good afternoon, madam? May I come in?” he asked in an affected (and dramatic) French accent.
You stared at him, your jaw dropped a little open and watched him breezing in past you into the foyer. “Sssssuuuuuuuure...” you said after he was already inside. You shut the door behind him and waited for whatever was to come.
You had learned with Gabriel that it was usually just best to humor him and allow him to get through whatever he had planned. “Oh, zis light! Zis place! And what a bee-yoo-tee-ful face!” he said with a flourish. “Oh, but zat outfit...” he clicked his tongue at you. “No, no, no. Zis is no good--my dear, zis is just not your color?”
You looked down at your top, bewildered. “Oooookaaaaaay...” You looked back up at him and crossed your arms. “Alright then, Romeo. What IS my color then?”
Gabriel smiled. That was it. You had played right into his hands. “Mmmhmmhmmhmm,” he laughed. “Ho HO! May I suggest--nude?” He grinned from ear to ear, relishing how easily he had reached his punchline.
“GABE!” you yelled, hitting him on the arm.
He laughed heartily and pulled off the fake mustache (and the beret) and swept an arm around your lower back, pulling you in against him. Your arms wrapped around his neck as he tugged you in.
You were trying to give him a stern look, but you could feel yourself smiling.
“Too much?” he joked.
“You’re always too much,” you said.
“But that’s why you like me.”
You considered him for a moment, studying the hues of hazel and amber in his eyes, finally brushing your fingers through his hair. “Some days,” you teased.
He raised his eyebrows at you and stuffed the beret back onto his head. “Zat is it! I have had enough of zis foolishness!” He hoisted you up over his shoulder and you squealed and kicked playfully. “Zis whole thing is a do-over! We must start from scratch! Undress and re-do! To ze bedroom!”
You both laughed the whole way.
Prompt: "Sweetie, that's so not your color."
