you know what if it weren't for the fact that there's a creepy nuts op this season, fzmz pronounced fathoms would absolutely take op of the season for me. they knocked it out of the park AGAIN with this one
like it's not JUST that the song is a banger. it is, of course, but the sound/energy/vibe of it just fits the show SO well. which was true of the op they did for the first cour too
both the slf ops get points for not only being sick as hell but ABSURDLY good fits for the series
circling back to creepy nuts, it's like how yofukashi no uta was the perfect ed for... yofukashi no uta lmao, but of course that would be a perfect fit! the series was literally named after the song!
anyway i still have to give op of the season to creepy nuts but fzmz has my attention. really hope to see more ops/eds from them in the future (especially for slf if we get a second season, they're just THE slf band now)
