One of my favorite songs by The Misfits is "We're Off and Runnin'."

Among the characters Christy created is Eric Raymond, who she named after her brother, Eric Ray Marx.

The last names for Jerrica, Kimber, Aja, and Shana (Benton, Leith, and Elmsford, respectively) are the last names of significant scientists who developed holographic technology.

One of the themes in Jem was girl power, and there's no better song that exemplifies it in the series than this one.

The song "Love's Not Easy" appeared on the cassette packaged with the second edition Kimber doll before being used in the show. The song made its only appearance in the episode, "Renaissance Woman."

Jem's name was originally supposed to be "M" (for "Mystery"). Hasbro had to change the name because you can't trademark a letter of the alphabet.

They were the third band introduced in the Jem series near the end of its run. Its members included the charismatic Riot, the flirtatious Minx, and the conniving Rapture.
