whoâs the first to distance themselves (if either)?
The two of them fight, often. âWeâll help each otherâ was just another shitty promise made at the wrong time in the wrong place, in the back of someone elseâs car. Their problems arenât going to fixed with each other. Itâs why Fuzen wakes up to an empty apartment and Tresch isnât anywhere to be found in the small hours of the day, not lounging in the couch or getting high on the kitchen floor.Â
Nobody told him how to deal with his problems in a healthy way. It takes him until evening to come back with a dripping wet jacket and a pack of cigarettes bought in apology, which isnât accepted until after the make-up sex.Â
who cries more in an argument? do either of them cry?
âThen why donât you go back to him?â is a recurring statement in their arguments, but so is âyouâre just using me for the sexâ and âyouâre not going to miss meâ. By that time, Fuzenâs crying, with a balled-up fist that may have already made its way into Treschâs face. See above for how it plays out.Â
Tresch cries, too, but less. Itâs a problem, but on the bright side, itâs a gauge to tell when itâs really bad. Like if Fuzen leaves first. Like if he finds himself half-dead after another relapse.
if one of them gets injured, who worries more?
Funny how all these questions lead into each other. Tresch doesnât worry, not unless itâs already too late. He doesnât have nightmares about Fuzen getting shot out of the blue but if it ended up happening he wouldnât be sure on what heâd do or how he'd feel. Fuzen, on the other hand.Â
She might question him when he comes home with too many bruises and blood welling up in his mouth, and itâs concern masked with a heavy layer of possessivenessâ which leads to more fights galore. Makes you wonder how they end up staying together, after all this âneon dreamerâ aestheticâs been dashed to the ground.Â
