Every time I see baby ed and al I want to scream because they are too freaking adorable for words. I love how Ed was pretty much born super fierce and Al is just like a total puppy (or maybe kitten in his case) >w<

Weird, I thought I’d answered this. Oh well, better late than never.

1 - Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic. 

After hurt/comfort? Probably really quiet emotions between people who aren’t good at talking. 

2 - Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

BDSM-verse. I want to write it correctly, and not as a bastardized Alpha/Omega dynamic fic with no concept of how BDSM works.

3 - Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?

Oh, lots. One of them is rape recovery. Allusions to rape? Fine, if they make sense. Threatening rape? Certainly. I even, once, in the mists of time, wrote a noncon fic for a kink meme. But there’s this very specific trope that goes like this: chapter 1, X gets raped; multiple chapters are devoted to Y fixing them with sex; last chapter X is fine. And I just can’t write that. Or read it, honestly. I just can’t.

29 - If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

I actually do this already! I wrote a prequel to “The Goat’s Back” by arsenicjade, I wrote a midquel for rufeepeach's “a hundred years or more,” and I wrote a homage to nillys-issue's fic at one point. But, hmmm, one I haven't done yet? Huh. I don't know. 

My thing with writing extensions is that it has to strike a certain cord with me. I have to find a specific kind of opening that works in-story. Like, I adore cyprith's Modern Magic AU, but I wouldn't something for it because it isn't finished itself and it's not the right thing to jump off of. I could jump off of “hundred years” because there was just this tiny narrative gap that I could fill that pushed a button of things I like.
