Yesterday i kicked off my race season with my first 70.3 Ironman race. 6 hours 34 minutes and 10 seconds after the cannon sounded for the start of the race I crossed the finish line and became a half Ironman triathlete. Made friends, crushed goal times, and sadly lost my delicious pb&j to a bump in the road on the bike.
