Here’s my agenda for today, nothing too exciting

0900-1200 psych lecture

1230-1430 read nutrition chapter + start notes

1430-1500 tidy up the house a bit + nibble on chinese leftovers lol

1500-1600 grocery shop. see the chinese was well thought out ;) can’t go to the grocery store hungry!

1630 cook dinner for two > gf pasta with broccoli rabe + crumbled spicy sausage

1800-2230 school work > a little bit of this, a little bit of that

2230-2330 work on shop content

What I would do differently my first semester of nursing school.

1. GO TO SLEEP! I did not sleep my first semester of nursing school. I would stay up until 3am studying for my exams just because I was so scared and anxiety would take me over. I would be exhausted the next day and dozing off near the end of my exams. Plan your day in a way where you can make sure you get to bed earlier. And then the night before an exam mark what you don’t understand or need to review and wake up really early before your exam to go over it, rather than staying up until 2 am.

2. Go to the career center to brush up my resume and get information in advance to get an externship or pct job for the summer. If you know you want to get an externship for the summer don’t wait last minute to do it. Talk to your academic advisor or go to the career center to get the help you need.

3. Eat healthier! Try to minimize the amount of junk food you eat on a regular basis. You are going to be tired alllllll the time starting from day one. Eating junk food often will just make you feel more sluggish then you already are. There is nothing wrong with a treat here and there but don’t over do it.

4. SAVE MONEY. Save as much money as you can before you start the program! Trust me lol.
