So I know that this is not nursing school related, but I wanted to change the post up a little bit and get personal. Because at the end of the day, S and I are still humans and we have a life (kind of) outside of nursing school.

Not many people know this except my close friends or people that follow me on social media, but I am engaged and I am only 21. I plan on being married by 22 or 23 but there isn’t a rush. I’m not pregnant, I’m not trying to wish my life away. I just simply spent the first 20 years of my life alone and I found the inner peace that I needed to love myself. I do not feel as though we need men to complete us, but having someone to walk through the bad days with you makes life so much easier.

I don’t judge anyone for getting married early in life or for waiting until they are 50 to get married. I think that a relationship that is worthy of marriage can come along at anytime in a person’s life. Maybe you met your soulmate on the playground in first grade and you didn’t realize it until later on in life, or maybe you put your career dreams first and your finding love second. I don’t think anything is wrong with either of those options.

I was slightly confused before selecting this strand. I wasn't sure if being in this field was the best choice for me.Honestly, a lot of people advised against choosing a STEM field since it is difficult, demanding, and stressful.But since the STEM strand for senior high school connects to the courses I took in college, I choose to go that route.We are all aware that this strand is significantly more difficult than other types of strand, but on the brightside, it helps us develop intellectually and better prepares us for life in college.

Being a STEM student is enjoyable and engaging. You will gain knowledge of biology, physics, and chemistry as well as gain a deeper understanding of technology. You will also learn how to solve mathematical equations, analyze various situations, and solve problems.I find my passion and work toward my ideal profession. Being a STEM student is not just stressful; it's also exciting and fun, and it benefits me in much more ways than just learning.
