theory on odd squad and scp foundation
Have you ever noticed the similarties between Odd Squad and SCP Foundation? The only difference is that Odd Squad isn’t scary, the general public is aware of its existence, and it’s run by kids. Aside from that, it’s practically the same thing. Odd Squad even has “the ____ room” rooms that sometimes holds odd stuff- essentially containment.
My theory is that Odd Squad is actually a training and recruitment ground for future SCP Foundation researchers and agents.
If an Odd Squad agent is good enough at what they do, they’re told they’re leaving headquarters for something along the lines of promotion. When they reach their new destination, they discover they’re actually the Foundation’s newest agents/researchers. Olive and Otto leaving to “run their own Odd Squad”? That was actually them being recruited into the Foundation. Centigurps, blobs, dinosaurs, etc. getting out is containment breach training, and Ms. O may or may not be in on the SCP training thing.
